Gearbox Claims They Spent Millions of Its Own Money to Finish Aliens: Colonial Marines
Aliens: Colonial Marines is the gift that just keeps on giving. This week, Gearbox's attorneys have filed requests to have the developer removed from four claims in a class-action lawsuit against itself and Sega over "false advertisement" for Colonial Marines. They filed another motion that looks to make the suit lose its status as a class-action lawsuit.
The original class-action lawsuit against Gearbox and Sega was filed by Roger Damion Perrine and John Locke. They say... -

VR Headset Designer True Player Gear Changes Name to vrvana
True Player Gear announced tonight that they have changed the name of their company to vrvana (pronounced "ver-vana") to better reflect what they do as a company.
"True Player Gear" is long-winded and we've heard pretty much every possible permutation of those words. It also caused some confusion at times: "Wait, you guys aren't making hip hop clothing!?". But most importantly, we felt it did not reflect our long term vision for the company, which is that VR should not be limited... -

Raids in Destiny Will Not Support Random Player Matchmaking
If you want to do a raid in the full version of Destiny, you better have five friends ready to go. Bungie said that there will be no matchmaking with random players when it comes to in-game raids.
Bungie's Luke Smith explains to IGN just how extremely crafted these multi-hour raids are and why matchmaking would not benefit any person.
Raids are “extremely crafted,” six-player, friends-only gauntlet runs that might best be described as gut-checks. Yes, they will... -

Sony Doesn't Feel EA Access Provides a "Good Value to the PlayStation Gamer"
"Why is EA Access only on the Xbox platform," seems to be the question of the week for many gamers. If nothing else, surely it would also be on the PlayStation platform as well, right?
