Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Does Away with Prestige Levels

New progression system details revealed.

A new blog focused on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare went up today that talks about the progression changes that were made for this year's release. First off, there are no more Prestige levels. Players will be able to earn 55 base levels and 100 additional Officer Ranks in each season of play.

This news comes hot on the heels of word that Modern Warfare is doing away with paid map packs and loot boxes.

Each weapon now also has 100 earnable camo patterns and an average of 50 attachments. You...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

Xbox One Reportedly Costs $471 to Build

The Xbox One reportedly costs $471 to build, meaning Microsoft has just a $28 margin between the cost per unit and the price they're selling it for. As noted previously, the PlayStation 4 costs $381 to build, so what makes up the differences between the two machines?

AllThingsD notes how the Kinect makes up at least $75 of the system's total cost. The most expensive component, however, is the AMD made chip that combines the CPU and GPU at a cost of $110. The PS4 chip costs only $100 in comparison. The Xbox One's DDR3 memory costs Micro...

Possible PSA: Steam Autumn Sale Kicks Off Tomorrow, November 27

Let's keep this rumor train rolling strong! According to documents leaked earlier this month, a Steam Autumn Sale will begin tomorrow, November 27 and will end December 3.

The document appeared on Reddit on November 3 and supposedly comes from a Russian developer that recently had their title Greenlit on Steam. Another Reddit user verified that he was sent a copy of the email from said developer. If this is true, you have about a day to prepare your wallets. If this is true, don't expect to see anything drastically different in the Stea...

Fallout 4 Possibly Teased in Survivor 2299 ARG

I've been sitting on this one for a while since it wasn't very clear that this "Survivor 2299" thing was actually related to Fallout 4. There was a huge amount of speculation that it was and also some evidence showing that it might not be. However, as the days go on, more and more details are emerging that seem to indicate this is a legitimate ARG for an upcoming Fallout 4 reveal. Again, all of this is merely speculation at this point and may end up just being a huge joke on the Internet and fans of the Fallout series. When you first visit the site you ar...

Call of Duty: Ghosts is the Top Selling 'Next-Gen' Title

It turns out that players still want to play Call of Duty as shown by the fact that Call of Duty: Ghosts is the best-selling "next-gen" title released so far. Activision announced that Ghosts is both the top-selling game for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and the most played game on both platforms.

According to GameStop PowerUp Rewards, it is also the most "desired" game of this next-gen turned current-gen era.

  • Is a Bully Sequel in the Works?

Is a Bully Sequel in the Works?

A new trademark filed with the European Union for Bully Bullworth Academy: Canis Canem Edit has some fans excited that Rockstar Games might be planning a sequel to Bully. In addition, the "Bully" trademark was updated back in July in the United States. Rockstar has merely told fans of the series to stay tuned for news on any new developments of the series. The possibility of it being a sequel is quite high given that the original came out in 2005 for the PlayStation 2. Then again, perhaps it's another re-release, like the one that came out in 2008 for th...
