Watch Almost an Hour of Death Stranding Gameplay

A lot of gameplay footage that may finally provide a lot of answers.

The marketing for the Kojima Productions game, Death Stranding, has left consumers with more questions than answers. It's a game from the mind of Hideo Kojima, so of course the marketing was going to be odd. The problem was, there are a lot of people that just have no idea about what the game was even about even after the numerous trailers.

Maybe sitting down and watching 50 minutes of gameplay will help clear up that confusion. If that doesn't work, then maybe a breakdown of the gameplay footage from...

Final Fantasy VII Remake Tokyo Game Show 2019 Trailer

The trailer is at the bottom after these boring words.

Square Enix showed off an all new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake this week at the Tokyo Game Show. The new trailer offers a fresh look at gameplay, the slums of Midgar, and a peak at the mini-games and summons. Midgar is home to the Shinra Electric Power Company. This kind of totally evil company is in conflict with Avalanche, a resistance group fighting to keep their planet alive. You will also get your first look at some of the Shinra operatives known as The Turks.

Square Enix also included their new artwork...

Cube World is Coming to Steam

Let me take you back to the year 2013...

In 2013, a little game called Cube World came out in an "alpha" release. It was a cute, stylized adventure-RPG that offered a ton of freedom, battles, exploration, and more. A big appeal of the alpha was being able to have all of these adventures with your friends in one world. To its credit, the limited content of the alpha was quite enjoyable but the promise of bigger and better was always just around the corner. The problem came when it was just never updated! Eventually the developer went dark.

We would sometimes...

EA Claims PlayStation 4 System Update is Breaking Some Games

EA is claiming that the big day one system update for the PlayStation 4 is actually breaking some of their games. It reportedly causes some "stability issues" in a few of EA's titles.
Sony has released a firmware update for the PlayStation 4 that is required for many features on the console. However, this update also results in stability issues while playing games on the system. This affects all games on the PS4, including EA titles, causing crashing/freezing and non-responsive connections between the player's console and their TV Screen. Unfortunately since it's an issue with Sony's firmware, it requires a new updat

Sony Acknowledges a 0.4% Failure Rate for Initial PlayStation 4 Shipments

Earlier today it was revealed that some early adopters of the PS4 were experiencing some technical issues, which included hardware freezing and failure to download updates.

Sony was quick to respond to the worries by saying only 0.4% of the the total initial shipments were being reported as faulty. That is the equivalent of 4 out of every 1,000 units shipped, which is actually really damn good when it comes down to it.

A Sony spokesperson released this statement on behalf of the company to IGN.
"A handful of people have reported issues with their PlayStation 4 systems," a Sony spokesperson confirmed. "This is

Early PlayStation 4 Owners Experiencing Hardware Failure and Console Locks

It's not quite up to the dreaded RROD for the Xbox 360 launch consoles but some early PlayStation 4 owners are already reporting system failures.

A user at NeoGAF said that they tried to update their console and it froze on them.
After playing a brief game of NBA 2k14 I quit and inserted my battlefield 4 disk. The system prompted for an update, so while watching the progress bar (Around 20%) my controller light turned from blue to white. Hasn't worked since... Get those extended warranties ready! and SCEA on speed dial! **UPDATE** Went thru a number of "fixes" with customer service and none of them worked. They are shipping me a box to get the unit serviced. Safe Mode on the console no longer works. **U
