Earlier today, Microsoft announced that they have not only released the 2.0 SDK for the Kinect, but they have also released a new adapter kit for PC users.

Nearly 60% of Carbine Studios Has Been Laid Off
Carbine Studios, the development studio owned by NCsoft and developer of the recently released MMO WildStar has reportedly laid off about 60% of its entire studio. This comes from part of a larger "restructuring" by NCsoft West.
The layoffs affected all levels of employees at Carbine. The only ones not impacted by the layoffs were ArenaNet.

As a brief update to yesterday's news on the achievement list for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, it was confirmed today that the game will be coming to the Xbox 360. With it will come those previously mentioned achievements, a bump up to 720p resolution, better draw distances, and "improved graphics." What that means exactly isn't quite clear just yet. Judge Rules in EA's Favor Over Battlefield 4 Class Action Lawsuit
A class action lawsuit brought against EA over "false and misleading statements" concerning the marketing for Battlefield 4 has run into a wall today. The judge in the case, Judge Susan Illston, ruled that many of the statements made were not actually fraudulent but were rather just "puffery" and vague.
