Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Does Away with Prestige Levels

New progression system details revealed.

A new blog focused on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare went up today that talks about the progression changes that were made for this year's release. First off, there are no more Prestige levels. Players will be able to earn 55 base levels and 100 additional Officer Ranks in each season of play.

This news comes hot on the heels of word that Modern Warfare is doing away with paid map packs and loot boxes.

Each weapon now also has 100 earnable camo patterns and an average of 50 attachments. You...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

  • Over 60 Titan Ships and $155,000 Destroyed in EVE Online Over a Missed Bill Payment

I'll never understand the appeal of EVE Online. These players spend months and tons of real-world money to build ships in the game, only to go to war and lose it all in an instant. We're talking about real, tangible cash here that these people are losing.

Such is the case today as the CFC and Russian Coalition took on Pandemic Legion and N3 over a missed bill payment. Seriously.
"Earlier today an alliance in the N3 coalition missed a bill payment for the system where Pandemic Legion is staging and storing their fleets," writes EVE. "This

  • Update - Leaked Images Show Off Supposed Source Engine 2 Screenshot and Half-Life 3 Development

Update: These slides are allegedly from a presentation Valve gave three years ago in 2011. It stands to reason that what we see in these screenshots then are already implemented, at least in part, in the current iterations of the Source Engine. The same Source version that we see at work in games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Original: It seems as though there's been yet another leak from Valve over the past day. CBOAT from NeoGAF, got his hands on a presentation that shows off Source 2.0 in action. True, we don't know if these are legitim...

  • Far Cry 4 is Probably in Development

Far Cry 4 is Probably in Development

This may be the least surprising news we're posting today but it seems as though Far Cry 4 is in development at Ubisoft Shanghai. A recent CV listing on LinkedIn shows that the studio is working on the "next" Far Cry game, which is presumed to be Far Cry 4.

Hell, maybe it's Blood Dragon 2, which would also be just as nice to see. According to VG247, this isn't the first mention of a new Far Cry game being in development.

  • League of Legends Boasts 27 Million Daily Players and 7.5 Million Concurrent Players

Riot Games revealed to the Wall Street Journal, that League of Legends is doing a-ok for itself to the tune of 27 million daily players and a peak of 7.5 million concurrent players every day.

    Every. Day.

Let those numbers sink in a little bit. 27 million people play League of Legends on a daily basis. That's absolutely massive. It's even more impressive when you find out that back in October 2012, they only had 12 million people playing the game daily. The concurrent count is also up 50% from the 5 million peak they revealed in March...

  • Digital Foundry Compares Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Framerate on Xbox One vs PlayStation 4

Digital Foundry confirms what was mentioned just the other day when it comes to the framerate differences between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

In nearly every instance, it seems as though the PS4 version runs at or near 60FPS on average while the Xbone manages to hit just 30FPS.

For Xbox One, we can only speculate, but we suspect that a lower overall performance resulted in even more noticeable judder were the game to remain unlocked - which would look really unattractive compared to the
