Sony Delays PlayStation 5 Event Due to Protests

PlayStation 5 games will have to wait a big longer.

Sony has just announced that they are postponing the PlayStation 5 event that was scheduled for June 4. The event has been postponed for obvious reasons. Those reasons, for those unaware, are the numerous ever ongoing protests against racism and cops that believe they have a license to kill.

These protests started following the murder of George Floyd by four police officers in Minnesota. However, that event was merely...

The David Cage Trilogy Coming to Steam on June 18

A full script may or may not be included.

On June 18, Quantic Dream says that they will release not one, not even two, but three titles on Steam. These three titles were out first on PlayStation hardware, with a PC release hitting last Summer on the Epic Games Store. It seems as though a year has passed, as these things tend to do, and as such it's time for Steam to have its moment to shine.

On June 18, we will see Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, and Heavy R...

Unreal Engine 5 Announced for Next-gen Platforms

Don't expect any games any time soon though.

"Nanite" and "Lumen" are going to be the new buzzwords for the next few years. Those two terms were the highlight of today's reveal for the Unreal Engine 5. The engine, still very early in development at Epic, won't be released to the public until late 2021. An early preview will be made available to some in early 2021. This engine is being built to support current-generation consoles, next-generation consoles, PC, Mac,...

Get those wallets ready.

A time honored consumer tradition is waiting until the right moment to spend a lot of money on items they wanted but did not want to pay full price for. An equally time honored tradition, at least among PC gamers is having the dates of the Steam Summer Sale leaked well ahead of time.

In fact, those dates are usually leaked right around this time of the year. In fact, 2019's dates were leaked almost exactly a year ago, with a difference of just...

    Battlefield: Hardline Internal Trailer Leaked

Battlefield: Hardline may be the least secret game reveal in the past few years. Yesterday, images from Battlelog were leaked prompting an actual announcement from EA. Today? Someone got their hands on the private, internal pitch trailer for the game. This was back when it was still codenamed Omaha. The visuals, features, and everything else in this trailer are not final but it should give you a good idea of what to expect. Some are saying that this was a planned leak. Something ...

    Wolfenstein: The New Order Review

Wolfenstein: The New Order might be my new favorite modern first-person shooter. I'll give you some idea of just how much I've enjoyed my time with Wolfenstein. I started playing the game at midnight for the PC release. Later that day I received my PlayStation 4 review copy. I finished my run through of the PC version the next day and then immediately started a new game on the PS4 version and I am playing through it again. And you know what? It just feels right. Wolfenstein: The New...

Early today, it seems as though a ton of information was potentially leaked for Battlefield: Hardline. You may otherwise know it as Battlefield: S.W.A.T. or even the "Battlefield game being developed by Visceral Games."
