From the same company trying to sell you a $130 version of Star Wars Outlaws.

The antitrust lawsuit against Valve from Wolfire Games got a little spicy this week. Multiple studios across all SIE regions impacted.

Sony just laid off about 900 people across multiple PlayStation studios around the world. These 900 or so laid off employees account for roughly 8% of the total workforce for Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Embracer Lays Off 97 Employees from Eidos; Cancels New Deus Ex

Embracer's rampage continues.

Eidos-Montreal, a development studio currently under the Embracer umbrella, made the sad announcement that employees at the studio were being laid off. Eidos took to social media to confirm that 97 people have been let go "from development teams, administration, and support services".

    Two days ago, Valve pulled Hatred from Steam Greenlight. As of last night, the title that tasks you with carrying out mass murder was added back to Steam with a personal apology made to the team at Destructive Creations by Valve's Gabe Newell.
    Yesterday I heard that we were taking Hatred down from Greenlight. Since I wasn’t up to speed, I asked around internally to find out why we had done that. It turns out that it wasn’t a good decision, and we’ll be putting Hatred back up.

    Some Free Multiplayer DLC Released this Evening for Dragon Age: Inquisition

    Earlier tonight, BioWare and EA released some free DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition. The DLC focuses mainly on the game's multiplayer component. It's called "Destruction" but it actually adds in some new pathways and angry wildlife to the game's existing multiplayer maps. The DLC will show up as a free download in Origin when you view the "game details" panel for the game.

    Lord of the Hunt DLC Now Available for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

    Some new DLC came out today for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor today. It's the Lord of the Hunt DLC and it adds in new single player content to the game.

    In Lord of the Hunt, Sauron has dispatched lethal Beastmaster Warchiefs to exterminate the monsters of Mordor. Talion will join Torvin the Dwarven Hunter and use his powers of Domination to turn these menacing new beasts against the Warchiefs, proving that Mordor cannot be tamed.

    The Patch 4 update was released tonight for Assassin's Creed Unity. The patch is 6.5GB on the PlayStation 4 and reportedly says it's 40GB for the Xbox One version of the game.
