Call of Duty Shakeup - Call of Duty 2020 is Another Black Ops and Is Modern Warfare 4 Going Free-to-Play?

Reports include talk of arguments between Sledgehammer and Raven.

There are reported some massive changes happening behind the scenes of the Call of Duty franchise. According to a new report from Jason Schreier of Kotaku, Call of Duty 2020 is no longer being developed by Sledgehammer and Raven. It will instead be handled by Treyarch and it will be another entry in the Black Ops saga.

This is the first major change in the development cycle of the Call of Duty franchise since 2012. Since then, the Call of Duty games have cycled between three lead studios. Those studios...

Bungie Brings Back the Nerf Gun on Fan-Favorite Destiny 2 Weapons

Old Bungie is back.

Around the release of the Curse of Osiris update for Destiny 2, Bungie had vowed to take a drastically different approach to how they handle community favored weapons in the game. Old Bungie would have nerfed those weapons into the ground without a second thought.

But new Bungie? New Bungie said that they wanted to instead buff up other weapons to make them more attractive choices. This was a part of their "Go Fast Update" initiative. Specifically, here is what they said in all capital letters for some weird reason (via Game Rant).

Review: A Plague Tale: Innocence (PC)

Incredible from start to finish.

Every once in a while there comes a new game release that defies all expectations. A Plague Tale: Innocence is one such game. Thanks to a delicate balance of satisfying gameplay and an engaging story, A Plague Tale will sink its hooks into you right from its opening chapters. Though there are a couple of small missteps along the way, the journey you share with siblings Amicia and Hugo is one you really don't want to miss.

There are many more review "buzz words" I could use to describe A Plague Tale, but I will spare you from...

New Final Fantasy VII Remake Teaser

Just watch it.

A new teaser trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake was finally shown off today. It's the first one shown off in, I think, over a year. It's not much but maybe it'll be enough until we hear and see more this June. ...

  • Is a Bully Sequel in the Works?

Is a Bully Sequel in the Works?

A new trademark filed with the European Union for Bully Bullworth Academy: Canis Canem Edit has some fans excited that Rockstar Games might be planning a sequel to Bully. In addition, the "Bully" trademark was updated back in July in the United States. Rockstar has merely told fans of the series to stay tuned for news on any new developments of the series. The possibility of it being a sequel is quite high given that the original came out in 2005 for the PlayStation 2. Then again, perhaps it's another re-release, like the one that came out in 2008 for the 360 and PC, or perhaps it's an HD remake. Whatever...

  • Xbox One Also Sells One Million Units in 24 Hours

Xbox One Also Sells One Million Units in 24 Hours

Microsoft is calling it "the biggest launch in Xbox history." Just as the PlayStation 4 did, the Xbox One has also sold one million units in a 24-hour period.

Microsoft claims that so far 3.6 million miles have been driven in Forza 5 and over 60 million zombies have been killed in Dead Rising 3. The key difference to note here is that the Xbox One launched in 13 countries yesterday in order to reach one million units sold. The PlayStation 4 was launched in only North America (United States and Canada) so far. It's also interesting to note that the PS4 is still backordered to the tune of 2.3 mill...

PlayStation 4 and Vita Ultimate Edition Bundle Coming this December

It looks like an "Ultimate Edition" bundle that includes the PlayStation 4 and the PS Vita may be coming this December. David Scammell, Editor at VideoGamer.com snapped this photo of an upcoming ad that features the bundle deal.

The catch here is that the bundle deal may only be for European markets. Yeah, bummer. So far, Sony has not yet announced or confirmed anything yet for any region, so keep those fingers crossed that this makes its way to other regions....

Report: Microsoft is Readying a New Version of Xbox One for 2014

This probably isn't true at all, but DigiTimes reports that Microsoft is already readying a new version of the Xbox One. Even more is that it may be released in early 2014.
While Microsoft will launch the Xbox One on November 22, it is preparing to introduce a new version of the Xbox One in the first quarter of 2014, according to Taiwan-based supply chain makers who say they have been asked to begin shipments of the new model in that quarter.
Shipments of Xbox One from the manufacturing side began at one million units a month in the third quarter and monthly shipments have been increasing in the fourth

  • Microsoft Has No Clear Solution for Xbox One Disc Drive Issue

Microsoft Has No Clear Solution for Xbox One Disc Drive Issue

The PlayStation 4 had its fair share of hardware issues (perhaps largely attributed to disgruntled Foxxcon employees) and now so does the Xbox One. The Xbox One seems to suffer mainly from a disc drive failure and unfortunately for those affected users, Microsoft has no clear solution.

We know that with a hardware launch of this magnitude customers will have questions and we have many avenues for customers to get the answers they need and get back in the game as soon as possible. Rest assured we plan to take care of our customers. Any customer who believes they are experiencing an issue with their Xbox One should reach out to us. There are many avenues ava
