Call of Duty Shakeup - Call of Duty 2020 is Another Black Ops and Is Modern Warfare 4 Going Free-to-Play?

Reports include talk of arguments between Sledgehammer and Raven.

There are reported some massive changes happening behind the scenes of the Call of Duty franchise. According to a new report from Jason Schreier of Kotaku, Call of Duty 2020 is no longer being developed by Sledgehammer and Raven. It will instead be handled by Treyarch and it will be another entry in the Black Ops saga.

This is the first major change in the development cycle of the Call of Duty franchise since 2012. Since then, the Call of Duty games have cycled between three lead studios. Those studios...

Bungie Brings Back the Nerf Gun on Fan-Favorite Destiny 2 Weapons

Old Bungie is back.

Around the release of the Curse of Osiris update for Destiny 2, Bungie had vowed to take a drastically different approach to how they handle community favored weapons in the game. Old Bungie would have nerfed those weapons into the ground without a second thought.

But new Bungie? New Bungie said that they wanted to instead buff up other weapons to make them more attractive choices. This was a part of their "Go Fast Update" initiative. Specifically, here is what they said in all capital letters for some weird reason (via Game Rant).

Review: A Plague Tale: Innocence (PC)

Incredible from start to finish.

Every once in a while there comes a new game release that defies all expectations. A Plague Tale: Innocence is one such game. Thanks to a delicate balance of satisfying gameplay and an engaging story, A Plague Tale will sink its hooks into you right from its opening chapters. Though there are a couple of small missteps along the way, the journey you share with siblings Amicia and Hugo is one you really don't want to miss.

There are many more review "buzz words" I could use to describe A Plague Tale, but I will spare you from...

Xbox One Reportedly Costs $471 to Build

The Xbox One reportedly costs $471 to build, meaning Microsoft has just a $28 margin between the cost per unit and the price they're selling it for. As noted previously, the PlayStation 4 costs $381 to build, so what makes up the differences between the two machines?

AllThingsD notes how the Kinect makes up at least $75 of the system's total cost. The most expensive component, however, is the AMD made chip that combines the CPU and GPU at a cost of $110. The PS4 chip costs only $100 in comparison. The Xbox One's DDR3 memory costs Microsoft just $60, which is $28 less than the GDDR5 memory in u...

Possible PSA: Steam Autumn Sale Kicks Off Tomorrow, November 27

Let's keep this rumor train rolling strong! According to documents leaked earlier this month, a Steam Autumn Sale will begin tomorrow, November 27 and will end December 3.

The document appeared on Reddit on November 3 and supposedly comes from a Russian developer that recently had their title Greenlit on Steam. Another Reddit user verified that he was sent a copy of the email from said developer. If this is true, you have about a day to prepare your wallets. If this is true, don't expect to see anything drastically different in the Steam Holiday Sale 2013 as the email notes how the sale items ...

  • Fallout 4 Possibly Teased in Survivor 2299 ARG

Fallout 4 Possibly Teased in Survivor 2299 ARG

I've been sitting on this one for a while since it wasn't very clear that this "Survivor 2299" thing was actually related to Fallout 4. There was a huge amount of speculation that it was and also some evidence showing that it might not be. However, as the days go on, more and more details are emerging that seem to indicate this is a legitimate ARG for an upcoming Fallout 4 reveal. Again, all of this is merely speculation at this point and may end up just being a huge joke on the Internet and fans of the Fallout series. When you first visit the site you are greeted with a countdown and some morse code. The morse code originally pointed to a date of December 11, 2013. ...
