The antitrust lawsuit against Valve from Wolfire Games got a little spicy this week. Multiple studios across all SIE regions impacted.

Sony just laid off about 900 people across multiple PlayStation studios around the world. These 900 or so laid off employees account for roughly 8% of the total workforce for Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Embracer Lays Off 97 Employees from Eidos; Cancels New Deus Ex

Embracer's rampage continues.

Eidos-Montreal, a development studio currently under the Embracer umbrella, made the sad announcement that employees at the studio were being laid off. Eidos took to social media to confirm that 97 people have been let go "from development teams, administration, and support services".

    Grand Theft Auto V 1.10 Update Fixes Broken Graphical Issues

    The last update or two for Grand Theft Auto V broke some character models for GTA Online, reduced the amount of damage modelling on cars, and also removed parallax occlusion mapping for some reason. It was probably just an oversight but people, naturally, flipped their lids over it.

    The prior update supposedly fixed the car damage modelling issue. Today's update, the 1.10 update, fixes the remaining graphical issues.

    Mewtwo was confirmed as coming to Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS on April 28. Lucas from the EarthBound series, will appear in the game at some point in June.

    Wargaming announced that in honor of April Fools, they will temporarily add in a special "Lunar" game mode and custom map to the console version of World of Tanks.
