Op-Ed: The PC Release of Mortal Kombat X Seems Silly and Dumb
To put it mildly, the PC release of Mortal Kombat X seems to be a bit of a clusterfuck. I "preloaded" the game last night and was surprised to see that it was only a bit over 3GB in size. "Huh, that's weird," I thought. I shrugged it off and instead proceeded to play the PC release of Grand Theft Auto V instead. In a move that is right up there with selling horse armor, Netherrealm and WBIE have decided to include some less than savory optional microtransactions in Mortal Kombat X. Destiny: House of Wolves Will Not Feature a New Raid
Despite the raids being one of the major pulls for players to constantly return to Destiny, Bungie has revealed today that the House of Wolves expansion will not feature a new raid. Instead, the company will offer a 3-player battle arena mode called "Prison of Elders." That's right, Bungie is not going to offer one of their strongest game features (raids) and is replacing it instead with something that either sounds like another PvP mode or, dare I say it, a horde based mode. Activision Teasing a new Game, It's Probably Guitar Hero
Activision released a new teaser trailer today. It features a band, guitars, musical instruments, and all things associated with a rock concert. So unless they're bringing back a weirdly re-imagined Crash Bandicoot or Spyro the Dragon, this is probably a teaser for a new Guitar Hero game.
