Tim Sweeney is always mad.

The antitrust lawsuit against Valve from Wolfire Games got a little spicy this week. To quickly get you up to speed: Wolfire claims that Valve uses its position with Steam to control game prices and muscle out competition. Though the initial lawsuit against Valve was dismissed, Wolfire amended their suit in May 2022 and the legal battle was back on.

It may have taken almost two years, but we are now starting to see some of the documents that...

Rumor: The Last Guardian to Have Presence at E3 2015

Look, I'm usually super skeptical about rumors nowadays, especially when it comes to anything related to The Last Guardian. With that in mind, I will say that the following seemed notable enough to at least mention.

A few posts from a mysterious user on NeoGAF seems to indicate that they have some sort of knowledge that the rest of us plebeians do not possess. When asked in a thread on NeoGAF whether or not The Last Guardian will be shown at E3 2015, the answer was a very unambiguous...

A Look at the Audio Obstruction System in Battlefield 4 CTE

New to the Battlefield 4 CTE is the audio obstruction system. This new system slightly tunes how you hear audio in Battlefield 4 depending on whether or not there is an obstruction or object between you and the origin of the sound. Youtube user David Sirland put together a handy video that shows off this new system at work. In the video, white signals indicate that there is no obstruction between you and the sound origin. Red indicators signify that the sound is obstructed and modifies th...

This is How Megalodon was Discovered in Battlefield 4

Allow Jackfrags to take you on a journey that I'm still trying to wrap my mind around here. This is how the Megalodon easter egg was found in Battlefield 4. Specifically, this is how the Megalodon was discovered in the CTE for Battlefield 4. That's right, something that people thought was in the game since near its launch was actually only added in a recent CTE patch. Oh well, it's still pretty cool.

Del Toro Hesitant to Make Games Again After Being Screwed Over Twice Now

Guillermo Del Toro says that he is kind of hesitant to try making a game again after being screwed over twice now. His first attempt came in 2012 when he was working with THQ on a game called Insane that was eventually cancelled. His latest is obviously the now DOA Silent Hills from Konami.
"Well, you know, I’ve tried twice and I don’t know if I’ll ever come back to the form. In one instance, the company went down, and in the second, the completely unexpected happened, which was Kojima

Square Enix Reschedules E3 2015 Press Event

I'm not really sure which party is truly in the wrong here but following the reveal that Nintendo and Square Enix were holding their E3 2015 events at the same time, Square Enix decided to back down. Square Enix originally scheduled their event for 9AM on June 16, the time Nintendo typically held their E3 events. Nintendo then comes along and schedules their event for the same time. Today, Square Enix decided to reschedule their event for 10AM on the same day. I know it's "tradition" for Nintend...

    by Shawn Zipay
    It's AAAA vs WB.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.

Between the Rocksteady developed live-service Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the "AAAA" quality Ubisoft developed Skull and Bones: Which is the bigger disappointment for you?
