Chivalry 2 Announced as Epic Games Store Timed Exclusive

Another Tripwire published title revealed as an EGS timed-exclusive.

The Chivalry series is making a comeback at what could be a very interesting time. Despite fierce competition from Mordhau, Torn Banner Studios announced that they are working on Chivalry 2. It will once again be a multiplayer first-person "slasher" set in medieval battlefields. The game, published by Tripwire Interactive, is targeting a 2020 release on the Epic Games Store.

Elden Ring Announced by FromSoftware and George R.R. Martin

Game of Souls.

Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director for some of FromSoftware's most notable releases and best-selling fantasy writer, George R.R. Martin, are teaming up for a brand new action-RPG title from FromSoftware. Martin may be better known as the author behind the fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire, which served as the basis for most of the entire Game of Thrones TV series. Miyazaki is best known for creating the various Souls titles, Bloodborne, and the recently released Sekiro.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Will Be Released March 3, 2020

Announced rather quietly via a new trailer.

Square Enix quietly announced a release date for Final Fantasy VII Remake during a new trailer shown off at a concert in LA this evening. Square Enix says that there will be "further announcements" made tomorrow, presumably during their E3 2019 conference.

Their conference is scheduled for June 10 at 6PM (PT). ...
 

Cyberpunk 2077 Dated for April 16, 2020 as Pre-Orders Open

Also, Keanu Reeves is in the game.

CD Projekt RED showed off a new trailer today for Cyberpunk 2077 during Microsoft's E3 conference. Not only did they show off a new story segment, but they also announced a release date and the fact that Keanu Reeves is in the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on April 16, 2020 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, or GOG, and "coming soon" to Epic Games Store. There is also a physical release of a Collector's Edition that fans can also pre-order. This includes the game along with a variety of "high-quality collectibles." ...
 

Almost 14 Minutes of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Gameplay

    • Killzone: Shadow Fall
    • NBA 2K14
    • Thief

    Then, on May 27, Watch Dogs will be added. This list is subject to change, so there may be more or less titles added as time goes on.

    The headline about Far Cry 4 should be enough to get you super excited for the upcoming sequel. The game is slated to be released in the first half of 2015 and will take place in the Himalayas, according to a story from Eurogamer.

    PSA: Wal-Mart Selling Titanfall Xbox One Bundle for $450

    This may be going on for a limited time (or it may be a new permanent price, who knows) but Wal-Mart is offering the Titanfall Xbox One bundle for just $450. That's a savings of $50 from the $500 suggested price and the price of the bundle just about everywhere else.

    This bundle includes the Xbox One, controller, Kinect, a digital copy of Titanfall, and a month of Xbox Live Gold.

    As promised, Microsoft has taken the lid off of their DirectX 12 reveal earlier today at GDC 2014. Get ready for some nice performance gains on machines with lower end CPUs, but not until December of 2015 at the earliest.

    The good news is that most current, modern GPUs will be able to make use of DirectX 12. Support for DirectX 12, at least for Nvidia, will be on all "the DX11-class GPUs it (Nvidia) has shipped." This includes cards from the Fermi line, Kepler, Maxwell, and beyond.

    Day One Patch for Infamous: Second Son Adds 5 Hours of Additional Gameplay

    A patch for Infamous: Second Son will be released tomorrow that will add 19 new missions to the game and about five hours of additional gameplay.

    This new content is for the "Paper Trail" line of missions, an "innovative online and in-game story arc" that will have players discovering the full story behind the D.U.P. being in Seattle. Beyond these 19 missions, additional information will also be found through various website "investigations."
