Watch Almost an Hour of Death Stranding Gameplay

A lot of gameplay footage that may finally provide a lot of answers.

The marketing for the Kojima Productions game, Death Stranding, has left consumers with more questions than answers. It's a game from the mind of Hideo Kojima, so of course the marketing was going to be odd. The problem was, there are a lot of people that just have no idea about what the game was even about even after the numerous trailers.

Maybe sitting down and watching 50 minutes of gameplay will help clear up that confusion. If that doesn't work, then maybe a breakdown of the gameplay footage from...

Final Fantasy VII Remake Tokyo Game Show 2019 Trailer

The trailer is at the bottom after these boring words.

Square Enix showed off an all new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake this week at the Tokyo Game Show. The new trailer offers a fresh look at gameplay, the slums of Midgar, and a peak at the mini-games and summons. Midgar is home to the Shinra Electric Power Company. This kind of totally evil company is in conflict with Avalanche, a resistance group fighting to keep their planet alive. You will also get your first look at some of the Shinra operatives known as The Turks.

Square Enix also included their new artwork...

Cube World is Coming to Steam

Let me take you back to the year 2013...

In 2013, a little game called Cube World came out in an "alpha" release. It was a cute, stylized adventure-RPG that offered a ton of freedom, battles, exploration, and more. A big appeal of the alpha was being able to have all of these adventures with your friends in one world. To its credit, the limited content of the alpha was quite enjoyable but the promise of bigger and better was always just around the corner. The problem came when it was just never updated! Eventually the developer went dark.

We would sometimes...

  • Bungie Says Parity with Previous Console Generation is the Reason Destiny Is Not 60fps

Yet again, we're faced with another case of development of a game for the previous console generation holding back performance on the current generation of consoles. Development for four platforms is apparently the reason why Destiny does not run at 60fps on the Xbox One or PlayStation 4.

Xbox One to Receive Separate Battlefield: Hardline Beta

Right now, the beta for Battlefield: Hardline is limited to PC and PlayStation 4 owners. That means that Xbox One owners are left out in the cold when it comes to experiencing the extreme thrills that the beta brings with it. Cry no more, Xbox One owners, because you will apparently get a beta that is quite different from what everyone else is presently enjoying the hell out of.
"We will have a beta on on all platforms before release," DICE's General Manager Karl-Magnus Troedsson confirmed to us during an interview at E3. "But it won't be this beta on Xbox. It's not going to be the same version, just to be clea

  • Sony and Nintendo Dominate NPD for May 2014

Sony and Nintendo Dominate NPD for May 2014

The NPD figures for May are in and it looks like Sony once again dominates in hardware. Sony once again said that they are the "best selling hardware" for the month of May. Nintendo came out with a nice surprise and revealed that the Nintendo 3DS is the second best selling piece of hardware for the month. In addition, they revealed that the Wii U has sold over 60,000 units in May. Even more impressive when you figure that Mario Kart 8 was only on sale for two days during the figure gathering period for the NPD. Speaking of Mario Kart 8, that game debuted at the number two position on the software sales chart, beat only by ...

  • Euro Truck Simulator 2 Developer Given 1-Year Ban from Steam for Showcasing a Community Exploit That He Repeatedly Told Valve About

Valve dished out a 52-week long ban on Thomas Duda, a developer with SCS Software, the studio behind the Euro Truck Simulator series. His ban came after Duda showed off a security exploit in Valve's own Steam Community that would allow for scripts to be run without issue. He showcased the vulnerability by making the screen shake and play the Harlem Shake. Valve banned him shortly after for "violations of the Steam Subscriber Agreement." The issue here is that according to Duda, he tried to inform Valve of the vulnerability multiple times prior to this move on his part. His warning and explanation of the security fl...

  • Ubisoft Caught Hiding E3 2012 Graphical Options in Watch Dogs PC - This Mod Restores Those Settings

Remember when the Internet was busy raising a stink over the "downgrade" that happened to Watch Dogs? Oh, it was a mess. One side said there was a very noticeable downgrade, one side said there wasn't, and others simply didn't care if there was one or not.

Turns out that the downgrade people weren't really all that wrong in their complaints. Earlier today, it was discovered that Ubisoft actually left in old files that brings the game to look almost identical to what was shown off for it back at E3 2012. I'll say that again: Ubisoft actually left in the files that would enable better visual fidelity for PC gamers. They hid them from easy access and buried them within the game's files. Why? Nobody really knows why. In fact, the only way they we...
