Resident Evil 3 Remake Cover Art Leaked

Features a look at Jill, Carlos, and Nemesis.

We seem to have yet another leak on our hands today. This time it's for the still not officially announced remake of Resident Evil 3. It seems as though the cover art for this totally not real game was found on the servers for the PlayStation Store.

A games tracker feature on Gamstat quickly embeded the images from the PlayStation Store and thus made them visible publicly. Since then the images were pulled from being publicly accessible on the PlayStation Store. It's a good thing Gematsu saved the...

Review: Superliminal (PC)

A puzzle game that pushes you to see things differently.

Superliminal is a game that time after time after time suggests to you, hints to you, or outright tells you that everything is a matter of perspective. It is a game that tells you that though you believe a puzzle to be impossible, the solution could be staring you right in the face.

Superliminal is a game that takes these simple ideas and attempts to create an entire game with that in mind. You are taught that signs can become steps or an alarm clock can be climbed in certain situations....

Half-Life Alyx Reveal Trailer, 4K Screens, and Release Date Announced

It's been over 12 years. 12 years since the last Half-Life game was released. While it may not be Half-Life 3, Valve did today reveal Half-Life Alyx to the world. This is a new VR title for the PC that is set between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2.

Valve is straight up calling this a "full-length" game that just happens to require a VR device to experience. Pre-orders are available now, months ahead of the game's currently planned release in March 2020. A pre-order discount brings the $59.99 (USD) price down...

Google Stadia is Out Today and Reportedly a 'Monumental Flop'

It's time for "good news, bad news."

For Google, today is a bit of a mixed bag. The good news for them is that they just soft launched their first dedicated gaming platform, Stadia. The bad news is that it's reportedly a "monumental flop."

Today, those who purchased the $130 Founder's Edition of Stadia are probably awaiting its delivery. The physical contents largely consisting of a unique Stadia controller and a Chromecast Ultra. Though you had to plunk down $130 for this, there was actually no guarantee that you would get...

    Sierra Rises from the Dead

Sierra was a well known developer and publisher of games in the 80's, 90's, and up to the point it ceased to be in 2008. Well, it's back. At least, it might be back?

The following video plays prior to showing a rather sparse page on a newly launched Sierra website.

Back in 2008, Sierra's parent company Vivendi Universal merged with Activision to form Activision Blizzard. As a result, ownership of Sierra was transferred to Activision. Later that year, Sierra was closed down with hopes of simply being sold off. During its ...

    Blue Estate Review (PS4)

Blue Estate is an on-rails shooter that utilizes the DualShock 4's gyroscope for aiming. The idea of using the gyroscope for aiming sounds promising enough. In theory, it should be a decent substitute for not being able to use light guns or PlayStation Move functionality. In theory, this type of game should be a lot of fun, especially for those who enjoy the arcade style on-rails shooters from days gone by. In theory a dark humor, grindhouse style of game should be amazing provided the writing is decent with just the right amount of cheese thrown in. In...

Battlefield 4 is "Free" on Origin Until August 14

Battlefield 4 is the latest game to receive the Origin Game Time treatment! For those of you who forgot from last time, Game Time is a way of giving a player time limited access to a game where the clock starts when you first start playing, provided you begin playing prior to August 14 at 10AM (PT). The amount of time for Battlefield 4? 168 hours of game time, or one full week. Or to put that another way, that's about half of my total play time in Battlefield 4, a game I've had since right around launch. Granted, I may suck, but that should give you a rough...
