Review: The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope

A thrilling co-op experience that will keep you guessing.

Until Dawn from Supermassive Games was a thrilling and often frightening foray into the compelling horror that only they could execute on so soundly. After Until Dawn came their next best attempt at offering thrills and chills to the player, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan. Man of Medan was a competent horror experience that was marred by slightly restrictive camera angles, a predictable story, and a few gameplay mechanics...

New Starfield Info from Todd Howard

First new information in years.

Bethesda announced Starfield back in 2018 and have been tight lipped since then. That all changed when Todd Howard spoke for over an hour during the Develop: Brighton 2020 conference. You don't have to listen to the hour+ long interview for yourself to get the new details as Reddit has kindly done that for us!

First off, we know that there will be a major overhaul to the Creation Engine, which itself is still based on Gamebryo. Todd Howard...

Cyberpunk 2077 Developers Receive Death Threats Over Delay

Stop being assholes.

Just yesterday, word broke from CD Projekt Red that they were delaying the release of Cyberpunk 2077 by an additional three weeks. It's sad, it's unfortunate, but it's only a delay of a video game. Of course, some people reacted to the delay announcement to extremes that nobody should ever reach.

Some so-called "gamers" have issued death threats to members of the Cyberpunk 2077 development team. This was revealed via a tweet from CD Projekt...

Forza Horizon 2 Getting Fast & Furious Standalone Expansion

Well this is a bit of an odd one for you today. It seems as though Forza Horizon 2 will soon get a standalone Fast & Furious themed expansion. This is no joke.

Rumor: Valve's VR Headset is Superior to Crescent Bay Oculus Rift

In a teaser by TechRadar about Valve's upcoming virtual reality headset reveal at GDC, they cite a very interesting rumor from one of their own sources.
Furthermore, our own sources have told us that the headset is out in the wild and being tested by developers. One person familiar with Valve's plans told us that the headset in its current state is technologically "superior" to the latest iteration of Oculus Rift, Crescent Bay.
They don't really expand on what it means by "superio...

There is a Kickstarter for a New Toejam & Earl Game

I tend not to put up news on new Kickstarter campaigns since all too often people get burned by broken promises. However, I feel as though people would like to hear about the possibility of a new Toejam & Earl game. Yes, Toejam & Earl: Back in the Groove has a Kickstarter campaign underway.

A Look at There Came an Echo

With the site down yesterday, I had some time to try out a few new games. One of those games was There Came an Echo, a strategy game that just happened to come out yesterday. What makes the game so unique? Well, you use your voice to issue commands to your team! Plus, if you ever wanted to boss around Wil Wheaton or Laura Bailey, just to name a few of the voice actors, now is your chance.

Voice command controls meets strategy and sci-fi in There Came an Echo. I take you

  • SCE Santa Monica Developer Threatens to Pull Ads and Review Copies Over Poor The Order: 1886 Reviews

Reviews for The Order: 1886 haven't exactly been the highlight of the week for developers Ready at Dawn and SCE Santa Monica. The game has been panned from quite a few critics which has led to at least one developer at Sony's Santa Monica studio to speak out in anger.

It really seems to be like his stipulation for obtaining review copies is "give us a good review or else." You cannot force or threaten critics and publications to lie to their audiences. Dean Rymer...
