Sony Delays PlayStation 5 Event Due to Protests

PlayStation 5 games will have to wait a big longer.

Sony has just announced that they are postponing the PlayStation 5 event that was scheduled for June 4. The event has been postponed for obvious reasons. Those reasons, for those unaware, are the numerous ever ongoing protests against racism and cops that believe they have a license to kill.

These protests started following the murder of George Floyd by four police officers in Minnesota. However, that event was merely...

The David Cage Trilogy Coming to Steam on June 18

A full script may or may not be included.

On June 18, Quantic Dream says that they will release not one, not even two, but three titles on Steam. These three titles were out first on PlayStation hardware, with a PC release hitting last Summer on the Epic Games Store. It seems as though a year has passed, as these things tend to do, and as such it's time for Steam to have its moment to shine.

On June 18, we will see Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, and Heavy R...

Unreal Engine 5 Announced for Next-gen Platforms

Don't expect any games any time soon though.

"Nanite" and "Lumen" are going to be the new buzzwords for the next few years. Those two terms were the highlight of today's reveal for the Unreal Engine 5. The engine, still very early in development at Epic, won't be released to the public until late 2021. An early preview will be made available to some in early 2021. This engine is being built to support current-generation consoles, next-generation consoles, PC, Mac,...

First off, it looks as though the first Mafia title will be called Mafia: Definitive Edition and will be a full remake. We're talking about some gorgeous looking visuals and modern conveniences on a game...

Steam Summer Sale 2020 Dates Leaked

Get those wallets ready.

A time honored consumer tradition is waiting until the right moment to spend a lot of money on items they wanted but did not want to pay full price for. An equally time honored tradition, at least among PC gamers is having the dates of the Steam Summer Sale leaked well ahead of time.

In fact, those dates are usually leaked right around this time of the year. In fact, 2019's dates were leaked almost exactly a year ago, with a difference of just...

  • The Evil Within Review

    The Evil Within Review

    The mediocrity within.
Over the course of the lengthy, ill-paced campaign, one thing really stuck out for The Evil Within. It's not really a horror game. Yes, there are areas where you are often subjected to intense imagery and situations but they are more shocking than anything else. To put it simply, the game is more like the Saw film franchise than what we have come to expect from a good survival horror game. You may think to yourself that perhaps this will be a killer ac...

  • Bloodborne Producer Targeting 30FPS as it is "the Best" for Action Games (Update)

Update: The good news tonight is that Masaaki Yamagiwa took to Twitter to clear up a few misquotes from the original source of this story.

Yamagiwa said that they are going for 1080p and 30fps for Bloodborne due to its game design. He goes on to say that he did not say that it's best for all action games.
Our apologies to Yamagiwa though it is still unfortunate that so many other developers do actually feel like a lower framerate is somehow ...

Blizzard Bans Several Thousand Hearthstone Bots but Only Until 2015

The good news tonight is that Blizzard has brought the ban hammer down hard on "several thousand" Heathstone bot accounts. These are mentioned as being accounts that used third-party programs to automate various aspects of gameplay.

    That's the good news.

The bad news is that Blizzard is only banning those accounts until 2015.
