Final Fantasy 7 Remake Delayed

April is starting to look a little packed.

Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase said today that the game will be delayed slightly. Final Fantasy 7 Remake was originally slated to be released on March 3. Now, it will instead be released on April 10. This comes via a press release sent out Kitase and the development team at Square Enix.

This sad news comes roughly a week after the still unannounced demo for Final Fantasy 7 Remake was leaked. There are already...

New Character Focused Trailer and Screens for Resident Evil 3 Remake

When you smile...

When you think of Resident Evil 3, you probably think of the characters of Jill Valentine and the ever persistent Nemesis. You may even think of Carlos, whom you do spend a bit of time playing as after a certain story beat in the original. However, there are a number of other characters that were in the original that are maybe not as memorable. They are, nonetheless, still vital to the story and will obviously show up in the Resident Evil 3 remake that Capcom is working...

PlayStation is Officially Ditching E3 2020

A surprise move with the PlayStation 5 mere months away from release.

In late 2018, Sony announced that they would not participate in E3 2019. Today, history repeats itself as Sony has once again announced that they will not be participating in E3 2020. For the second year in a row, Sony and their PlayStation lineup will be a no-show at, what used to be, one of the largest industry events of the year.

Sony has been present at every previous E3 up until 2019. They have...

  • Microsoft to Sell Stand-Alone Kinect for $150 in October

Microsoft to Sell Stand-Alone Kinect for $150 in October

So, if I did the math correctly here, buying an Xbox One without a Kinect is $400 (USD). If you later decide that you want the Kinect, that will run another $150. Combined, that is $550, which is somehow $50 more than if you bought the Xbox One bundled with a Kinect in the first place! Oh Microsoft, you crafty devils you! The actual "news" bit of this article here is that Microsoft is going to sell a stand-alone Kinect sensor starting on October 6 for $150. I suppose that is going to b...

    Video Game Players Love Porn

Who'd have thunk it, right? According to some graphs and charts recently released by PornHub (probably NSFW), a lot of people access porn sites through their game consoles.

Yeah, a little something to think about the next time you go to play some local co-op games with your friend Tim down the block and he hands you the controller.

The breakdown of operating system statistics goes into much greater detail, especially when it comes to popular searches, t...

EA Looking to Earn $1 Billion from DLC Sales in 2014

According to both EA and some financial experts, EA may near or hit the $1 billion (USD) revenue mark just in sales of DLC and add-on content alone for 2014. This is due largely in part to the sale of Madden Ultimate Team card packs sold in Madden NFL 15 (and previous versions of the game) and a near identical mode in the FIFA series.

  • Capcom Suing Koei Tecmo for 980 Million Yen for Patent Infringement

Capcom Suing Koei Tecmo for 980 Million Yen for Patent Infringement

First it was SNK accusing Square Enix of IP infringement, and now it's Capcom going after Koei Tecmo for the same sort of issue. Capcom is accusing Koei Tecmo of patent infringement, specifically over games like Samurai Warriors: Xtreme Legends and 49 other games. They are suing them for 980 million yen, which is about $9.43 million (USD). This lawsuit apparently goes back to 2002 when Capcom filed for a patent that lets a user acquire new content by combininb an existing game with a...
