Square Enix Scraps Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Pre-Order Program

Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal announced today that they have cancelled the "Augment Your Pre-Order" program for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. This is a good move from the companies after fans were very vocal about how stupid the entire idea was.
Initially conceived as a reward to players by allowing them to choose their own content (mirroring one of Deus Ex’s core gameplay pillars), the promotion was negatively viewed by the community. Having watched, read, and listened to feedback,

And Broken Age? What hole in the wall studio did that crawl out of?

Look at these totally unknown Indie games that nobody has ever heard of before.

Driveclub PlayStation Plus Edition Departs in October

If you have PlayStation Plus and didn't grab the PS+ version of Driveclub, you should do so before October 6. On that date, it will go away forever but the paid version will still be around. According to Sony, the free version of the game will no longer be available. Why? I don't know. People are inexplicably upset over this for reasons that baffle and confuse me. It was not the full version of the game that was available for free, only the (often delayed) stripped down PlayStation Plus v...

Trying to Scratch that MMO Itch? Try The Secret World

MMO’s have always been there for me ever since I gave a shot at EverQuest way back in the day. Throughout the years, I’ve gone on to countless different additions from SWG to Warhammer Online. I’ve played dozens of free MMO’s (and even made a small website dedicated to them for a while).

There’s something about an MMO where you seem to get an “itch”. You start a new one with your buddies, someone begins to out level, and then there’s a loss of interest so onward you...

    by Shawn Zipay
    It's AAAA vs WB.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.
