Tomorrow, December 5, Sony will begin to roll out their PlayStation 2 game support for the PlayStation 4. Sadly, this doesn't mean that you can pop in your old PS2 discs and expect them to be backwards compatible on the PS4. Instead, you will have to re-buy those old classics you hold near and dear to your heart. The initial lineup of games available is also quite small.

Konami Barred Hideo Kojima from Appearing at The Game Awards 2015
Tonight, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain won for best Action game and best Soundtrack. When the award was presented on stage for best Action title, Kiefer Sutherland went up to accept the reward on behalf of Hideo Kojima. Why wasn't Hideo Kojima in attendance? He usually is.

Rock Band VR Announced, Coming 2016
Harmonix and Oculus VR announced Rock Band VR tonight for the Oculus Rift. The game is slated for release in 2016. It is supposed to be a separate entry from Rock Band 4. Of course this seems to indicate that Rock Band is indeed coming to the PC through this announcement. There is no word on pricing, if there is a non-VR mode, or how any DLC will be handled.

Psychonauts 2 Announced - $3.3M Crowdfunding Goal Set
Psychonauts 2 was just announced at The Game Awards 2015. The surprise announcement came courtesy of Double Fine and Time Schafer. The announcement also came with a request for $3.3 million crowdfunding courtesy of Fig.co.
