Speculation: Nintendo NX Reveal Coming in June, Released Holiday 2016
According to analyst Junko Yamamura of Nomura Securities, Nintendo will reveal their NX console this June, with the full release planned for just prior to the 2016 holiday season at the end of the year.
The firm also believes that the NX will indeed have an impact on the sales of both the 3DS and Wii U, which actually seems super obvious.

Red Barrels' President, Philippe Morin, said that the team is "in full control of what we ship and when we ship it." Due to sales surpassing 3.5 million units, they are in a position to take their time with this sequel. He says that they were in a rush to finish the first game before running out of money.

Thanks to a strong holiday season, Sony revealed that they are nearing 36 million PlayStation 4 units sold to date. To be specific, Sony announced that the current installed user base is sitting at 35.9 million. This is a jump of 5.7 million units sold just this holiday season.
