Rockstar North Studio Head Leslie Benzies Leaves After 15 Years
Leslie Benzies has departed as the head of Rockstar North after a 15 year run. According to Rockstar, Benzies had been on sabbatical for the past 17 months prior to the official departure.
Benzies started with Rockstar back when it was still called DMA Design. He served as the Producer on Grand Theft Auto 3 and nearly ever sequel afterwards. He was also the Producer on Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire. A statement made to Kotaku earlier today confirmed the news.

Ubisoft released a new trailer for Tom Clancy's The Division today. The trailer is a mix of cutscenes and gameplay and it actually looks really damn good. The blend of RPG genre with action is slated for release March 8.

Father Blames EA and Microsoft for 17-Year Old Son Amassing $8K Xbox Bill
Lance Perkins is disgusted at the near $8,000 (CAD) bill he received for purchases made by his 17-year old son in a recent FIFA release on the Xbox platform. Perkins received a credit card bill for $7,625.88 after his son purchased multiple in-game purchases for the game.
His son, being of an age where he should know better, fed his father a line about how he had no idea that it wasn't just a one-time fee.

Metal Gear Online PC Beta Begins Tomorrow (January 12) #QuickHits
A beta for Metal Gear Online on the PC will begin tomorrow, January 12 at 10PM (PT). Konami announced this tonight via Twitch alongside showing off a new work-in-progress multiplayer map for MGO. You will be able to opt-in to the beta through the Steam properties for Metal Gear Solid V. This is open to everyone that owns the game on the PC.
