#NewsBits for January 26, 2016 - Quantum Break, $40, Final Fantasy, and Ghost Theory
It's release day. Rather, it's the day of the week in which most games are released. That is otherwise known as "Tuesday" for most everyone else. I say that this is the day that games are most often released, but that's not always true either. There's a lot of crap on Steam that doesn't give a damn for your traditional release days. We also have Nintendo out there just throwing caution to the wind and releasing games on the weekend. Nintendo don't give a damn! I give a damn, though. I giv... -

Physics Based Rendering Added to Morrowind Engine
A modder, Hrnchamd, managed to get Physics Based Rendering (PBR) and normal mapping added into the 14-year old Morrowind game engine. The video was uploaded by user PeterBitt on YouTube and shows off the work done by Hrnchamd.
It obviously isn't the best looking use of PBR, but it could breathe some added life into that game one day.

Five Nights at Freddy's RPG Pulled from Steam
Scott Cawthon released FNAF World, a cutesy RPG based off of his popular Five Nights at Freddy's games, about a month ahead of schedule. It was apparently pretty bad. It was so bad that he apparently pulled the game from Steam due to the bad reviews, despite the fact that it was near 90% positive review ratings.
Hi everyone, I wanted to make a post about the fate of FNaF World. Even though the game had a “Very Positive” rating with 87%, I was not satisfied with the reviews and... -

Nintendo Reportedly Working on Paper Mario Wii U Game
A rumor started to circle today about a new, unannounced Wii U title in development from Nintendo.
It turns out, that game is supposedly a new Paper Mario game. This comes from a number (five) of sources that gave this information to one Emily Rogers on Twitter. Who is Emily Rogers? I don't know.
Again, it's a rumor. Grain of salt. You know the rest.... -

Volition to Stream Cancelled Saints Row Undercover January 28
Saints Row Undercover was a game that was in development for the PSP. It was cancelled because it simply wasn't up to Volition's standards. However, thanks to Josh Stinson (ChipCheezum), a development build was found on an old PSP.
As a result of this discovery, he and others from Volition will be streaming the game live on the Volition Twitch channel on January 28 at 5PM (ET). A trailer showing off a bit of the game and the story of the build's latest discovery can be seen... -

First Shenmue 3 Prototype Screens
From the Magic Monaco press event in Paris comes the first three PROTOTYPE screenshots for Shenmue 3 that were taken from Facebook. I'll reiterate that point about these being from a prototype of the game. That's like pre-alpha stuff here.
With that said...
And just in case you still don't know what "prototype" quality levels mean, here is what Bayonetta looked like as a prototype.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.
Between the Rocksteady developed live-service Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the "AAAA" quality Ubisoft developed Skull and Bones: Which is the bigger disappointment for you?
