Germany Lifts Seven Year Ban on Fallout 3
Germany, being Germany, banned Fallout 3 in 2009 due to its violent content. A censored version was eventually released there but as the Internet will make damn sure it tells you: censorship sucks. Why lift the ban now? Because Bethesda wasn't going to put up with that crap and "initiated a difficult and rarely-successful trial" with the Federal Department for Media Harmful to Minors.
They won.
"In the case of Fallout 3, the request for delisting was granted even though... -
