Review: Persona 5 Royal

A master class in improving upon what is already great.

In September 2016, the original release of Persona 5 made its debut in Japan for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. It eventually had its Western market debut in April 2017. The game was developed by P-Studio and published in North America by Atlus. Despite a few minor issues, it was largely regarded as a fantastic JRPG with excellent art, an intriguing cast of characters, enjoyable gameplay, and even a rad soundtrack. Persona...

PlayStation 5 System Specs Revealed

We finally have the full next-gen picture.

As Sony's Mark Cerny wraps up his promised PlayStation 5 deep dive, the specs and other details for the PlayStation 5 have been released. So far, we know that the PlayStation 5 will be backwards compatible with most PlayStation 4 titles. Cerny seems to have stopped short of saying it will be backwards compatible with other generations, which is unfortunate.

We also learned today that Sony is putting a lot of effort into their...

Steam and CS:GO Break Concurrent User Records Yet Again

Actually, they broke records twice this weekend.

It seems like Valve isn't a fan of vinyl because they've been busy breaking records left and right this past month. In early February, we brought you word about how Counter-Strike: Global Offensive broke its old concurrent player record twice in the same weekend. Once the dust settled on the whirlwind weekend of February 8-9, 2020, the top number saw over 901,000 concurrent players enjoying CS:GO at one time. This had beaten a record...

E3 2020 Cancelled as Covid-19 Declared Global Pandemic

Wait, am I out of a job now?

Earlier today, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus (Covid-19) a pandemic. Think of a pandemic as an epidemic that has a much greater reach. Epidemics could be considered to be localized to just a few places in the world. Pandemics signify that there is a global impact. For a while, Covid-19 was still considered an epidemic because it was largely contained to areas of China and mostly to those that travel. As the virus continues...

The Most Casual of Let's Plays - Sleeping Dogs

I'm trying very hard to figure out just how I want to "promote" let's play style videos that both I and the community create. I'm not sure if creating a new forum section is the way to go with this. It would be set up similar to the news posting section on the site, where I would then "promote" the forum posts to main page articles. On the other hand, I could simply not create a new forum section and keep using the method of posting to the news section and then promoting to the main page a...

  • Sad Individual Purchases Over $4,000 Worth of Rosalina Amiibo Figures Because He Hates Her and Her Fans

A person, whom you may have heard of before, going by the names "Daily Dose" or "Mariotehplumber," has already purchased over $4,000 worth of Rosalina and Luma amiibo figures just so others cannot buy them. Here is his stupid reason why:
"I do not appreciate Rosalina appearing in almost every recent Mario game to date. The fact Nintendo promotes her so much and people praise her is just disgusting. "I hate her fans, too. I know for a fact her amiibo will be among one of the most
