Sony Delays PlayStation 5 Event Due to Protests

PlayStation 5 games will have to wait a big longer.

Sony has just announced that they are postponing the PlayStation 5 event that was scheduled for June 4. The event has been postponed for obvious reasons. Those reasons, for those unaware, are the numerous ever ongoing protests against racism and cops that believe they have a license to kill.

These protests started following the murder of George Floyd by four police officers in Minnesota. However, that event was merely...

The David Cage Trilogy Coming to Steam on June 18

A full script may or may not be included.

On June 18, Quantic Dream says that they will release not one, not even two, but three titles on Steam. These three titles were out first on PlayStation hardware, with a PC release hitting last Summer on the Epic Games Store. It seems as though a year has passed, as these things tend to do, and as such it's time for Steam to have its moment to shine.

On June 18, we will see Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, and Heavy R...

Unreal Engine 5 Announced for Next-gen Platforms

Don't expect any games any time soon though.

"Nanite" and "Lumen" are going to be the new buzzwords for the next few years. Those two terms were the highlight of today's reveal for the Unreal Engine 5. The engine, still very early in development at Epic, won't be released to the public until late 2021. An early preview will be made available to some in early 2021. This engine is being built to support current-generation consoles, next-generation consoles, PC, Mac,...

Get those wallets ready.

A time honored consumer tradition is waiting until the right moment to spend a lot of money on items they wanted but did not want to pay full price for. An equally time honored tradition, at least among PC gamers is having the dates of the Steam Summer Sale leaked well ahead of time.

In fact, those dates are usually leaked right around this time of the year. In fact, 2019's dates were leaked almost exactly a year ago, with a difference of just...

  • Exclusive: More Cities: Skylines Hands-On Gameplay - Unlimited Money and All Buildings Mods Used

Cities: Skylines is embracing the mod scene in a big way, even going so far as to offer up Steam Workshop support. Right now, there isn't too much in the way of custom content but that probably stands to reason because the game isn't out yet until the 10th. However, there are a few mods out there that I was able to test out last night. I believe these were added by the developer, Colossal Order. The ones used allow me to have unlimited funds while another unlocks all of the non-special buildings. ...

Three Hours of Cities: Skylines Gameplay

I played Cities: Skylines today. I played that game for three hours straight for the first time ever. I streamed it live on the Internet for all to view and if you missed it, you're in luck because you can watch all three hours right now. Now, the audio mix is completely screwed up for at least the first hour. Since I had to upload to YouTube directly from Twitch, the usual editing and attempts at quality control on my videos are not in place. With that said, here's unedited gameplay for t...

A Short Video from Valve's Portal VR Demo

Maximum PC took some footage from a portion of Valve's talk on virtual reality. During the talk, they showed off a short "Aperture Science VR Demo." It's important to note here that while we believe this is running on Source 2 (the lighting could be a big sign of this), it was not specifically announced as running on Source 2.

Even if it wasn't Source 2, the fact that it's VIRTUAL REALITY should be awesome enough for anybody!...
