Nvidia Releases Footage of Doom Running on Vulkan API
Nvidia released some new footage today of Doom on the PC running at up to 200fps via the Vulkan API. Of course, you probably won't really be able to tell that the framerate is hitting 200fps, but you can view the 1080p 60fps YouTube video below for a good idea of the performance. Alternatively, you can just look at the video directly through the Nvidia article. And yes, this is running on a GTX 1080 card.

Star Wars Battlefront Sequel Coming in 2017

Disney Ending Infinity Game Line, Shutting Down Avalanche Software
Disney announced that they are effectively pulling out of the video game publishing business. They are discontinuing its Infinity video game franchise and are shutting down Avalanche Software. This means that nearly 300 people are now out of a job. Star Wars Battlefront Surpasses 14 Million Units Sold
According to the latest financial report (fiscal year 2016) for EA, Star Wars Battlefront sold more than 14 million units. On top of that, 15% of all Star Wars Battlefront players were completely new to the "EA ecosystem."

Rainbow Six Siege 'Dust Line' Patch Notes
The second DLC pack for Rainbow Six Siege will be released on May 11. Today, the patch notes for the "Dust Line" update were released including an extended look at the two new Operators, new map, new weapon skins, new headgear, and more.
As before, the DLC is free to everyone that owns the game. Operators will cost you 25,000 Renown each. Season Pass owners will get access to them for free.
