Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Does Away with Prestige Levels

New progression system details revealed.

A new blog focused on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare went up today that talks about the progression changes that were made for this year's release. First off, there are no more Prestige levels. Players will be able to earn 55 base levels and 100 additional Officer Ranks in each season of play.

This news comes hot on the heels of word that Modern Warfare is doing away with paid map packs and loot boxes.

Each weapon now also has 100 earnable camo patterns and an average of 50 attachments. You...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

Easter Arrives in RuneScape for a Limited Time

Jagex just kicked off a special limited time event for those playing RuneScape. The event is Easter-themed and runs from now until the end of the month. As this post is going up on April 15, that means the event will run for about two weeks from now. If you are from the future, you probably missed out on this event.

Though the event sounds like it focuses on guilds, those without a guild can still participate in the fun. The full details on this new update and Easter-themed content can be read about on the RuneScape site. Plus, if you're not yet playing...

Octopath Traveler Moving from Switch to PC this Summer

On June 7, the critically acclaimed RPG Octopath Traveler will be released on the PC. The game, which has seen a great deal of success on the Nintendo Switch, is the latest non-Final Fantasy title to be released by Square Enix.

The game makes extensive use of "HD-2D visuals" that contain a blend of 2D character designs and 3D environments. Players take control of eight unique characters, each with their own stories to experience, their own motivations, and their own gameplay mechanics. Some will be on a journey of self-discovery while others...

  • Steambirds Alliance Announced - Free-to-Play Co-op Bullet Hell Game for up to 60 Players

Steambirds Alliance is a new, and unusual, title in development from Spryfox. The game sounds like very little else out there in the fact that it will be free-to-play, support up to 60 players in a game, and it's a co-op focused bullet-hell shooter. Like, you'll usually get games that have maybe one or two of those elements thrown together, but not all of them. They're also saying it's got some MMORPG elements included along with a heavy dose of customization.

The overall theme of the game is a battle between birds and cats. You and up to 60 other...

At the end of February, the world was alerted to the fact that Respawn Entertainment (Titanfall, Apex Legends) and EA would reveal a trailer for their new Star Wars title on this very day. It turns out, this scheduled event happened as planned.

    Imagine that.

Earlier today the studios revealed the first details and trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at the Star Wars Celebration that has been going on this weekend in Chicago. This is an original game set in the Star Wars universe and looks to take place after Order 66 was issued. This...

  • Yakuza Kiwami 2 PC Trailer and Release Date

Yakuza Kiwami 2 PC Trailer and Release Date

Sega is doing this weird thing where they are quietly releasing news and information about upcoming game releases without much fanfare. The latest seems to be the news that yes, Yakuza Kiwami 2 is coming to the PC, and yes, it has a new trailer. Not only that, but the trailer revealed a May 9 release date for the game.

Besides that, there isn't really much else to say. The PlayStation 4 release of the game was fantastic, with our review calling it the "best Yakuza game to date." I'm sure the improvements made to the PC release will make the...

Hitman 2 Content Roadmap Reveals New Locations, Missions, and More

A new content roadmap for Hitman 2 hit my inbox a short time ago today. In it, we get our first look at some new locations, missions, and even new Sniper Assassin maps coming our way. This roadmap has a little something for those that own the base game in addition to those that own the Expansion Pass. All players will get the free weekly live content, Challenge Packs, Elusive Targets, Community Escalations, and FEatured Contracts as you would expect.

You can get a broad overview of the upcoming content by checking out that sick roadmap below. Alternatively,...
