Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

Single player will also feature a bit of "co-op" in that you will be able to switch between the two characters on the fly. Where does the online component come into play then? Well, it will show in the game's "Raid Mode." There's j...

  • CD Projekt RED Justifies the Need for 16 Hours of Mo-capped Sex Scenes for The Witcher 3

According to The Guardian, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt includes about 16 hours of mo-capped data for the game's sex scenes. So, why so much? CD Projekt RED explains the need to PC Gamer.
"We are establishing that your character was intimate with this woman recently in order to plant in your mind, that, at the very least, he must enjoy her company," Senior Game Designer Damien Monhier said. "Through sex we have shown that this is a person who Geralt would be compelled to chase after if she went missing."
Monhier noted that sex is the fastest way to esta...

Sony Removing YouTube and Maps Apps from the Vita

Late last night, Sony revealed that the Maps application, the YouTube application, and some features of the near application will be removed from the PlayStation Vita.

The links take you to PlayStation support pages for Maps and for YouTube that explain the closures in slightly more detail. The YouTube app will no longer be supported after April 20. After January 28, the app will no longer be available for download. The thought is that nobody wants to actually update the YouTube app to the latest API version. Maps and some features of...

Valve Dishes Out Bans for CS:GO Match Fixing and Betting

About a week ago, word broke about a number of professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players and teams being involved in match rigging at CEVO Professional Season 5. Well, despite their cries of being "innocent," Valve's own investigation said otherwise.
