    EA Unable to Recover 60% of Corrupt Madden NFL Franchise Saves

    Looks like EA really fumbled this one.

    There was a period of about 22 hours where, if you logged into Madden NFL 23, there was a chance your Connected Franchise Mode saves became permanently corrupted. The 22-hour long span took place from December 28 through December 29. Those dates happened to come just after EA told players they were good to log in and play. Oops.

    Team green's streaming service will soon offer DLSS 3 and 240Hz support.

    Some new upgrades are coming soon to Nvidia's GeForce Now streaming service. Nvidia says that the hardware powering the service is getting access to all of those surplus RTX 4080 graphics cards that aren't being purchased by consumers.     The union has already been recognized by Microsoft.

    A supermajority of quality assurance (QA) workers at ZeniMax just voted to approve the creation of the ZeniMax Workers United/Communications Workers of America. This makes it the first video game studio union under Microsoft. It also makes it the current largest union of video game workers in the United States.

    Hitman and Hitman 2 to be Free to Hitman 3 Owners

    There is also a new name for Hitman 3.

    IO Interactive is renaming Hitman 3 to Hitman World of Assassination. Along with this change is word that those that own Hitman 3, soon Hitman World of Assassination, get free access to both Hitman and Hitman 2 from the World of Assassination trilogy.     2023 has already been an absolutely incredible year when it comes to new game releases. In 2023 alone, Metacritic lists 25 game releases that have amassed an average score of 90 or higher. The previous best year, again according to Metacritic, was back in 2011.
