Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

New progression system details revealed.

A new blog focused on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare went up today that talks about the progression changes that were made for this year's release. First off, there are no more Prestige levels. Players will be able to earn 55 base levels and 100 additional Officer Ranks in each season of play.

This news comes hot on the heels of word that Modern Warfare is doing away with paid map packs and loot boxes.

Each weapon now also has 100 earnable camo patterns and an average of 50 attachments. You...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

  • 343 Delays Content Update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Re-Evaluates Need for Beta Testing

Due to the still ongoing issues plaguing Halo: The Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries has decided to postpone the next content update for the game. This also means that the patch associated with it needs some "additional time and testing" prior to being released.

This patch is supposed to include fixes for matchmaking search times, match search successes, improve lobby functionality, hit registration, matchmaking ranking, and more. Oddly enough, the studio is also rethinking its plans on the need for a public beta to test patches prior to release. ...

    First 18 Minutes of Bloodborne

IGN First has the uh first look at the opening to Bloodborne. The video, embedded below, shows off everything but the character creation at the start of the game. The character creator will have its own reveal later this week.

If you plan on playing the game and want nothing spoiled for you, it stands to reason that you probably shouldn't watch this.

  • Treyarch Teasing New Zombies Reveal at DICE

Treyarch Teasing New Zombies Reveal at DICE

On Wednesday, Treyarch will make some sort of a reveal concerning zombies during their DICE presentation. Treyarch is the studio working on this year's Call of Duty title, so it should probably come as no surprise that there will probably be a zombie game mode included.

Then again, it is entirely possible that this will be an entirely separate game. Hell, it might even be the entire premise for the next Call of Duty game. Who knows at this point!

Their Tweet making the announcement included this image. It clearly shows a Perk-a-Cola on...

  • Game Industry: Sega Cuts 300 Jobs, Joystiq Closes, Monty Oum Hospitalized, Andrew Yoon Passes Away

It hasn't been a great day today in the gaming industry. In fact, you may even say that this might be one of the worst days for the industry in recent memory. It was announced earlier that AOL is cutting about 150 jobs. This means that Joystiq, as we knew it, will effectively cease operations. What remains of Joystiq will then be integrated into Engadget. It was also announced today that Sega will cut around 300 jobs as part of a "restructuring" process. The company is making the move as they see the industry moving towards a more digital future. We wish th...

Bloodborne PS4 Bundle Confirmed for Europe; New 'Chalice Dungeon' Video

Sony has confirmed that Europe will get a special PlayStation 4 bundle with Bloodborne. This includes a black PS4, a black controller, and a copy of the game. So really, it's kind of a no extra frills bundle but it's still an option for consumers.

Next, From Software decided to show off another look at the Chalice Dungeon. This "dungeon" is massive and seemingly randomly generated.
