Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

This news comes hot on the heels of word that Modern Warfare is doing away with paid map packs and loot boxes.

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

EA Teases Titanfall 2 as Not Being an Xbox Exclusive

Remember Titanfall? Remember how all of those PlayStation owners got to play that game? Yeah, that didn't happen because Titanfall was an Xbox exclusive and only came out on the One, 360, and PC. Perhaps EA realized what a bad idea that was because rumors of the totally not yet announced Titanfall 2 seem to indicate that the game will not be exclusive to the Xbox platform! Horray! In speaking at the 2015 Technology, Internet and Media Conference, EA's CFO Blake Jorgensen spoke briefly about the still totally not yet announced Titanfall 2 and what their plans are w...

  • Op-Ed: Here is Why the Battlefield Hardline Beta Did Not Sell Me on the Game

Op-Ed: Here is Why the Battlefield Hardline Beta Did Not Sell Me on the Game

The latest Battlefield Hardline beta has come and gone (at least by the time you read this). Undoubtedly, the beta will have sold fence sitters on purchasing the game while others have probably decided to save their $60 for another time. Hardline finds Visceral Games at the helm, leaving DICE to presumably work on Star Wars: Battlefront. Thus the question lingering in the air is if the developer known best for the Dead Space franchise could capture the magic that made the Battlefield franchise the powerhouse it once was. So, did they? Did Visceral manage to create a...

Hitman: Agent 47 Movie Trailer Takes the 'Silent' Out of Silent Assassin

  • New Asteroids Game is a Sandbox Survival Game

New Asteroids Game is a Sandbox Survival Game

    Remember Asteroids?

Yeah, that game right there. It's an iconic game from the late 70's. It's difficult not to know what Asteroids is. Now take that, but turn it into a sandbox survival game. That's precisely what Atari is doing with Asteroids: Outpost. According to the studio, the game will take place on a giant asteroid. Players will search out resources, craft their gear, and build a base.

Players will also have to defend that base from other players. What about actually shooting asteroids? Yeah, that's still in...
