Though the initial lawsuit against Valve was dismissed, Wolfire amended their suit in May 2022 and the legal battle was back on.

It may have taken almost two years, but we are now starting to see some of the documents that...

First Trailer for the Gran Turismo Movie

It's got cars and they're going fast. That's all it needs.

The first trailer for the upcoming Gran Turismo film by Neil Blomkamp made its debut earlier today. The film is obviously based off of the racing game franchise of the same name, but there are a few liberties being taken here or there for this film adaptation.

Blomkamp, who is perhaps best known for directing movies like District 9 and Elysium, puts his own spin on that deep Gran Turismo lore for this film. Based...

Spoilers for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are Leaking Online

You should probably stay off the Internet for a while if concerned.

With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom being just a week and a half away from release, it stands to reason that some people are getting their copies earlier than they should. It also stands to reason that because people are getting copies early, they want to share the game with others for a quick 15 minutes of fame.

Well, this obviously means that there are now spoilers out there for Tears of the...

UK Markets Authority Throws Shade at Nintendo Hardware

At least this one isn't about cloud gaming.

The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) blocked the merger of Microsoft and Activision Blizzard on the grounds of how it would stifle cloud gaming competition. As absolutely ridiculous as that sounds, that wasn't the only weird thing the CMA decreed during yesterday's vote and report.

The CMA also claims in their final report (PDF link) that Nintendo's consoles are not technically capable of running games like Call of...

    UK Blocks Microsoft Activision Merger

The CMA claims the deal would harm cloud gaming.

Cloud gaming. Cloud gaming is the reason why the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in the UK voted to block the $69 billion deal that would see Microsoft taking over Activision Blizzard.

The decision didn't come down to concerns over Call of Duty exclusivity or anything that would make some measure of sense. No, it came down to the CMA being concerned that the deal would "undermine new and innovative" competition...

  • Poll: What is 2024's Biggest Gaming Disappointment So Far?
    by Shawn Zipay
    It's AAAA vs WB.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.

Between the Rocksteady developed live-service Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the "AAAA" quality Ubisoft developed Skull and Bones: Which is the bigger disappointment for you?

    Playing these games isn't...
