Geoff Keighley to Skip E3 for First Time as Troubles Mount for Dying Trade Show

This comes the same day the exhibitor list was leaked.

Geoff Keighley, creator of The Game Awards, revealed today that he will not be attending E3 2020. His decision to not attend this year's event will mark the first time in 25 years that the industry veteran will not be in attendance. It also means that he will not host the annual E3 Coliseum show. This was a regular event where Keighley would host a series of game developers in a rather informal Q&A, allowing them to talk freely...

We now know for certain that this expansion launches on March 3. We also know for certain that players are returning to New York, specifically four new named zones in Lower Manhattan.

Anthem is Finally Getting a Massive Overhaul

BioWare officially announces their plans to make major changes.

Anthem as it currently exists is hanging on by the most tenuous of threads. Despite apparently being one of 2019's top selling titles, at least according to data shared by The NPD Group, the player base is next to non-existent. It would take a significant amount of work to get players interested in the game once again, which is apparently what BioWare has been working on behind the scenes for a little while now.

Nvidia's Game Streaming Service Finally Leaves Beta

GeForce Now is now live.

After quite some time cooking in a development oven, Nvidia has finally released their game-streaming service to everyone. They call it GeForce Now and is an already fairly proven competitor to other streaming services such as Google Stadia and Microsoft's upcoming Project xCloud.

While Stadia relies more on a Google curated list of games and xCloud is mainly focused on Xbox titles, GeForce Now attempts to let you stream just about any PC game...

John Smedley is Going After Convicted Lizard Squad Member

John Smedley, the former CEO of Sony Online Entertainment and current CEO of Daybreak, has a small bone to pick with Julius "zeekill" Kivimaki. Kivimaki was found guilty of over 50,000 charges the other day, all of which amounted to a couple of years probation in the Finnish courts. The thing is, Kivimaki isn't really out of the woods just yet. He still has criminal cases against him awaiting judgment. John Smedley has a personal bone to pick with the Lizard Squad member that helped...

17-year-old Julius "zeekill" Kivimaki was found guilty of 50,700 charges that were brought against him. Kivimaki claims to have been part of the Lizard Squad group that claimed responsibility for bringing down Xbox Live and PlayStation Network this past Christmas. You would think that someone found guilty of over 50 thousand charges would come with a rather severe punishment, right? Not so if you live in Finland. The courts gave Kivimaki a two-year suspended sentence. That's essentiall...

This is according to AnandTech, who in their review of the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X, says that there are no more improvements coming for Mantle. 30 Minutes of Metal Gear Solid V Alternate E3 2015 Gameplay

This past E3 (2015), Kojima and Konami showed off roughly 40 minutes of gameplay for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Afterwards, Kojima promised to show off some alternate gameplay options for the same mission. Today, he made good on his promise. Instead of Snake teaming up with Diamond Dog and the walker, he is instead teaming up this time with Quiet and D-Horse.
