He says that Valve "definitely have games in development that we're going to be announcing."...

Valve and Other PC Publishers Fined by EU Commission

The issue revolves around the companies "geo-blocking" various games.

The European Commission has fined Valve and five publishers a combined total of €7.8 million for a breaching of antitrust rules. The other publishers in question include Bandai Namco, Capcom, Focus Home Interactive, Koch Media, and ZeniMax. Valve's portion of the fine is merely €1.6 million while the rest of the €7.8 million is split up unevenly between the five publishers. The degree to which the...

Huge New Fallout: New Vegas Mod, The Frontier, is Out Now

It's like a whole new game.

A new mod for Fallout: New Vegas, called The Frontier, is now available for public download. This mod has been in development for several years from a dedicated team. This is far more than a simple mod that adds in a few quests and characters. It's almost as if you are playing an entirely new game.

The Frontier is set in Portland, Oregon and features a map size that is roughly the same size as the Mojave from New Vegas. This map is almost as...

Near Perfect Super Mario Bros. Run Sets New World Record Time

The world of speedrunning for the NES classic title Super Mario Bros. comes down to a matter of frames. We're not talking seconds or minutes here, we're literally talking about individual frames. Darbian is a Super Mario Bros. speedrunner that has been hard at work trying to perfect the game for ages now. He previously set the world record back on October 18, 2015 with a time of 4:57.627. That record was beaten yesterday by none other than darbian himself. His new time is a mind blow...

    Overwatch Beta Expands this Weekend

Those who are not yet in the beta for Overwatch may want to fire up their Battle.net clients or check their Battle.net accounts because you may have been added to this weekend's big Overwatch stress test. It seems as though Blizzard very quietly invited a number of new people to play for this weekend. They were so quiet, in fact, that most new invites did not receive emails.
During the Beta Test Weekend, all invited players (including those currently in the Closed Beta) will have

Mirror's Edge Catalyst Closed Beta Begins April 22

Those lucky enough to get an invite will get to experience a portion of Mirror's Edge Catalyst on April 22 when the closed beta launches.

Those who aren't quite as lucky will have to wait until April 23. The beta runs until April 26. If you aren't invited, don't worry too much, it just means you aren't as special as everyone else that was invited. I'm obviously just joking (partially).
