  • Three Hours of Cities: Skylines Gameplay

Three Hours of Cities: Skylines Gameplay

I played Cities: Skylines today. I played that game for three hours straight for the first time ever. I streamed it live on the Internet for all to view and if you missed it, you're in luck because you can watch all three hours right now.

Now, the audio mix is completely screwed up for at least the first hour. Since I had to upload to YouTube directly from Twitch, the usual editing and attempts at quality control on my videos are not in place.

With that said, here's unedited gameplay for the upcoming city builder game, Cities: Skylines. I hope to have a proper "A Look at..." go up this weekend. The review...

A Short Video from Valve's Portal VR Demo

Maximum PC took some footage from a portion of Valve's talk on virtual reality. During the talk, they showed off a short "Aperture Science VR Demo." It's important to note here that while we believe this is running on Source 2 (the lighting could be a big sign of this), it was not specifically announced as running on Source 2.

Even if it wasn't Source 2, the fact that it's VIRTUAL REALITY should be awesome enough for anybody!...

  • A Look at Valve's New Steam Controller

A Look at Valve's New Steam Controller

The latest, and perhaps final look, for Valve's Steam Controller was shown off at GDC 2015 this week. Engadget managed to snag some hands-on time with it and offers up both impressions and screenshots.
I spent roughly 10 minutes with the final Steam Controller at GDC 2015, playing snippets of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, The Talos Principle and Unreal Tournament on various Steam Machines. The body of the controller is wonderful to hold. Two long, clickable pads running along the backside of the handles, right where a player's middle and ring fingers lie, would be a welcome addition to any existing gamepad. Plus, the final controller
