Sony Allegedly Hacked... Again

"All of Sony Systems" was allegedly infiltrated by a new ransomware group.

A new group of baddies claims that they have "successfully compromised all of Sony systems" in a new ransomware attack.

This report comes from Australian cybersecurity site Cyber Security Connect in a new post made on September 25. The report says that Sony was infiltrated by some hackers calling themselves Ransomed.vc, a group that reportedly began operations in September. Cyber...

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Officially Announced... Again

Development has shifted to The Chinese Room.

It lives once again. Paradox Interactive just released a new announcement trailer to re-announce Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. The game and its development is alive and well here in September 2023. What's more is that there is a new trailer out for this fresh announcement and we're told that Bloodlines 2 will be coming in fall 2024.

    The latest posting on the official Binding of Isaac website says that The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ will be released on January 3, 2017 through Steam. A console offering is coming some time in Spring 2017.

    The expansion will be $9.99 (USD). However, for the first week of release, those that own Afterbirth, will be able to get Afterbirth+ for $6.66.

    Square Enix to Change Final Fantasy XV Story in Upcoming Patches

    Final Fantasy XV director, Hajime Tabata, updated the game's roadmap last night with what his team plans on doing for future patches. Included in this new roadmap are short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals.

    One of these goals includes a changing to an entire chapter (chapter 13) of the game. Another goal includes an "enhancing the story" plan. Yes, an RPG is going to get some significant changes to the story and flow of the game in post-release patches.

    Get that Premium Edition and play three days early!

    Looks like the latest growing trend with game releases is to offer a more expensive Premium or Gold or whatever edition that grants you access to a game a few days ahead of its official release.

    Starfield did it with their $99.99 (USD) Premium Edition. Today, Payday 3 is doing an "Early Access" release with their Silver and Gold editions. Diablo 4 did the same thing earlier in the year, as did Madden NFL 24,...
    I don't mind. If people want to spend more to play early, let them!

    I think it's kind of dumb that people get to play earlier. Spending more shouldn't offer a "head start" on other paying customers.
