Though the initial lawsuit against Valve was dismissed, Wolfire amended their suit in May 2022 and the legal battle was back on.

It may have taken almost two years, but we are now starting to see some of the documents that...

The Surge is Not Dark Souls and That's Okay (Review)

    Reborn from the Fallen
There is a very interesting thing happening with reviews for Deck13's new action-RPG The Surge. It's something I saw before and something I myself am guilty of, especially when it comes to Deck13's previous release, Lords of the Fallen. That "interesting thing" I have noticed is a move to compare each and every aspect of The Surge to the Dark Souls games. That alone is fine but the thing I cannot stand is the fact that some are actually upset, even borderline...

Far Cry 5 Teaser Trailer Takes You to Montana

When you think of Montana, chances are you probably have no idea what there even is in the state. There's probably some fields of grass, trees, and maybe a mountain or two. Leave it up to Far Cry 5 to make that location seem even slightly interesting. The teaser trailer, seen below, doesn't really give us much to go on here. From what I gather, the game will have some fields of grass, trees, maybe a mountain or two, and the ability to ring bells with someone's face. It just begs the qu...

CPU Limits to Blame for Destiny 2 30FPS Lock on Consoles

Bungie, in an interview with IGN, confirmed that the console versions of Destiny 2 are once again locked to 30FPS. Even on the PlayStation 4 Pro? Yes, even on the Pro. Why? Because the CPU in these current consoles are weak.

This is according to Bungie's Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy.
IGN: Why did you make that decision. You're like 'We're going to lock it at 4K/30(FPS) max on consoles.' Is it just like, you don't want to push the consoles too hard, or why do you make

Destiny 2 PC May Not be Released Alongside Console Release

Those in attendance at today's Destiny 2 reveal event have noticed that Bungie is being very careful with what they're saying about the PC release of the game. First off, we already know for certain that the game is exclusive to the Battle.net Launcher. Yes, I said "Battle.net" because even Blizzard called it that during today's presentation. This is in spite of the fact that it was renamed to the Blizzard Launcher some months back. Yep, it kind of sucks that it's not on any other digital...

  • Poll: What is 2024's Biggest Gaming Disappointment So Far?
    by Shawn Zipay
    It's AAAA vs WB.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.

Between the Rocksteady developed live-service Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the "AAAA" quality Ubisoft developed Skull and Bones: Which is the bigger disappointment for you?
