GameStop Closing Over 150 Stores as Stocks Plummet
Shortly after the news came that hardware sales at GameStop fell over 29% (software down over 19%) in the fourth quarter, came the news that shares in the company were down 12%. Playtonic Removes JonTron from Yooka-Laylee
Playtonic announced today that they have removed Jon "JonTron" Jafari from Yooka-Laylee following his very public and very racist remarks.
JonTron was initially invited to provide some voice work for the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie back in early 2015. Playtonic had reached out to JonTron, a long time fan of Banjo-Kazooie, after he expressed interest in the role via Twitter.
