Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

Layoffs Hit PlayStation Europe

SIEE had no prior knowledge of PS5 reveal.

A new report from VGC says that Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe (SIEE) is undergoing a "restructuring" of several areas at the company, including marketing and PR. VGC says that they were informed of this unfortunate news from "people with knowledge of the situation."

As if that wasn't bad enough, VGC's report says that SIEE employees were informed about when American PlayStation directors visited SIEE in their London location. Those employees who were impacted by these layoffs...

    Fox Engine Overseer Quits Konami

Julien Merceron, the overseer on the Fox Engine, has reportedly quit Konami. The news originally broke on Gameblog (via IGN).

Merceron joined Konami in 2013 as the Worldwide Technology Director. During this time, he oversaw the creation of the Fox Engine and its use in both the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise and Metal Gear Solid V. Before that, he worked at IO Interactive, Eidos, Crystal Dynamics, and Square Enix. Specific reasons for his departure were not made, but it could be a safe assumption that Konami's shifting focus on mobile and ...

GameStop is pulling a GameStop and are going to stop carrying console bundles that include downloadable vouchers for games. This was revealed during a recent earnings call (PDF).

Executives at GameStop revealed their plans to move away from digital bundles and instead are opting to focus on carrying "physical" bundles instead. This plan actually kicked off last month with Madden NFL 16. "But Zips, they still totally sold the Madden NFL bundles in their store!" Yes they did, John, but they were selling bundles with physical copies of the game included....

Apple TV to Entice Even More Casual Gamers?

As you may have heard, Apple made an announcement earlier in the month that had more to do with the latest iPhone designs and upgrades. While those changes are indeed coming to their mobile lineup, they're also looking to make a proper entry in the gaming sphere.

The new Apple TV will be available for a mere $150 (for the 32GB model) and aims to provide users with another gaming option that doesn't come from the Big 3 (Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo). While some have been quick to shoot it down before it's even out there-Kotaku.com threw some serious shade-there's...

  • Five Nights at Freddy's World is an RPG, No Horror

Five Nights at Freddy's World is an RPG, No Horror

There's a new Five Nights at Freddy's game coming. The weird thing, is that it won't be a horror game. Instead it will be called FNAF World and will be an RPG where you form a party from the cast of characters you encountered in the other games. I... uh... sure, ok.

Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon gives the details in a Steam Community update.
Hi everyone, this is a big update! I wanted to keep my plans for a new game secret until Halloween, but while my teasers have created excitement for some people, they have create
