Watch Almost an Hour of Death Stranding Gameplay

A lot of gameplay footage that may finally provide a lot of answers.

The marketing for the Kojima Productions game, Death Stranding, has left consumers with more questions than answers. It's a game from the mind of Hideo Kojima, so of course the marketing was going to be odd. The problem was, there are a lot of people that just have no idea about what the game was even about even after the numerous trailers.

Maybe sitting down and watching 50 minutes of gameplay will help clear up that confusion. If that doesn't work, then maybe a breakdown of the gameplay footage from...

Final Fantasy VII Remake Tokyo Game Show 2019 Trailer

The trailer is at the bottom after these boring words.

Square Enix showed off an all new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake this week at the Tokyo Game Show. The new trailer offers a fresh look at gameplay, the slums of Midgar, and a peak at the mini-games and summons. Midgar is home to the Shinra Electric Power Company. This kind of totally evil company is in conflict with Avalanche, a resistance group fighting to keep their planet alive. You will also get your first look at some of the Shinra operatives known as The Turks.

Square Enix also included their new artwork...

Cube World is Coming to Steam

Let me take you back to the year 2013...

In 2013, a little game called Cube World came out in an "alpha" release. It was a cute, stylized adventure-RPG that offered a ton of freedom, battles, exploration, and more. A big appeal of the alpha was being able to have all of these adventures with your friends in one world. To its credit, the limited content of the alpha was quite enjoyable but the promise of bigger and better was always just around the corner. The problem came when it was just never updated! Eventually the developer went dark.

We would sometimes...

Layers of Fear Early Access Full Play

Layers of Fear is a horror game that just hit Steam Early Access yesterday. It's one that I've wanted to play for a while now and I did just that a few hours ago. This is an unedited and uncut upload of a Twitch stream I did for this. This is the entirety of the current build for the game. As this is an Early Access title, the developers opted to cut significant portions of the game out so as to avoid spoilers ahead of the game's full release later this year. As such, the current playthrough is only about an hour and 40 minutes long, all of which can be seen below. The game is largely a psychological horror title that has some fantastic...

GRIP Kickstarter Cancelled but Lives on in Early Access

A Kickstarter for the spiritual successor to Rollcage, called GRIP, has been cancelled by the developers. Developer Caged Element decided to pull the plug after the game raised only about $154,000 out of the $657,000 (CAD) it was seeking from crowd funding.
Yes, we realized a while ago (as did many of you) that things were not looking positive for reaching our funding goal. That said, we continued to push. We released a new action-packed trailer. We did interviews. We tweeted, emailed and posted everywhere we could. Sadly, we just did not receive the exposure we needed to maintain the momentum after you all gave the campaign such a fantastic start. Are we disappointed in the performance

New Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX Screenshots

Sega released some new screenshots today for the new StreetPass functionality coming in Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX. The game is slated to be released on September 8 on the 3DS.

Hatsune Miku is full of content beyond just the rhythm game, and among the ones we think people will spend an inordinate amount of time with are the StreetPass features! Our personal favorite is being able to create your own Miku tune using a variety of instruments, including vocaloids, traditional instruments, synthesizers and chiptunes! Use the sounds and the keyboard to create a four-bar tone that you can share with anyone you StreetPass.
