Over the years, Volition created some pretty great games that includes the recently released Agents of Mayhem game plus the Saints Row, Descent Freespace, and Summoner franchises. Today, the studio laid off over 30 of its roughly 200 employees. These layoffs include General Manager Dan Cermak and video editor Josh "Chip Cheezum" Stinson. Jackbox Games passed along word to me, and me alone, about the complete list of games that are included with the upcoming release of The Jackbox Party Pack 4. These games, that only I know about, are coming to the PS4, Apple TV (4th gen only), Switch, PC, Mac, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Nvidia Shield on October 17. Valve Removes 173 Spam Titles from Steam Yet Keeps Achievement Farming Games
Earlier, Valve pulled 173 "spam" titles from the Steam store. These titles belonged to Silent Echo Studios. The studio avoided paying the $100 fee for Steam Direct on multiple occasions by submitting multiple games at once. This led to multiple games being added to the Steam store to the tune of roughly a couple dozen games per month.
