Though the initial lawsuit against Valve was dismissed, Wolfire amended their suit in May 2022 and the legal battle was back on.

It may have taken almost two years, but we are now starting to see some of the documents that...

AEW: Fight Forever Reveals Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch Mode

No virtual wrestlers will actually die.

THQ Nordic and AEW just revealed a new game mode for the upcoming wrestling game AEW Fight Forever. That mode is none other than the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch mode. I never saw any such match before in my life but their description of it being "extremely punishing" sounds quite appropriate.

I suppose there isn't too much more to say about the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch mode. Everything you need to know about...

Ubisoft Back on their Exclusive Storefront BS Again

Several upcoming titles are not headed to Steam.

Remember how in November 2022, Ubisoft made this big return to Steam? Since the initial release of Assassin's Creed Valhalla on Valve's platform, Ubisoft released several other newer titles. It looked like Ubisoft was playing a bit of catchup with releases on Steam after several of these titles enjoyed long exclusivity periods on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft's own storefront, Ubisoft Connect.

    With this trickle of Ubisoft...

Valve Ditches Dota 2 Battle Pass

    Battle Pass when? NEVER!

Dota 2 is about to turn ten years old. How does Valve choose to celebrate the milestone? They opted for violence. Well, not really. Valve is set to celebrate ten years of Dota 2 with "some fun stuff." This "fun stuff" won't be available until sometime after July 9th, the date that Dota 2 officially turns ten.

Perhaps the biggest takeaway from Valve's latest Dota 2 blog is the fact that they are ditching the Battle Pass. The...

Day One Patch Confirmed for Final Fantasy 16

It will be a relatively small patch.

Square Enix initially said that there wouldn't be a day one patch for Final Fantasy 16. The studio may have been a tad hasty in making that proclamation because they are now saying that Final Fantasy 16 will indeed have a day one patch at release.

The good news here is that the patch will be quite small in size, roughly 300MB. During a pre-launch live stream for Final Fantasy 16, producer Naoki Yoshida confirmed that there will be a...

  • Poll: What is 2024's Biggest Gaming Disappointment So Far?
    by Shawn Zipay
    It's AAAA vs WB.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.

Between the Rocksteady developed live-service Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the "AAAA" quality Ubisoft developed Skull and Bones: Which is the bigger disappointment for you?
