Ubisoft delayed three games today, though you'll only really care about two of them. The company announced delays for Far Cry 5, The Crew 2, and then dropped a bombshell by saying that an "unannounced franchise game" has also been pushed back.
Far Cry 5 makes the move from February 27, 2018 to a March 27, 2018 release. Ubisoft says that the "extra time will allow the team at Ubisoft Montreal to make some additional improvements that will bring the best, most ambitious Far...

Lost Sphear Demo Available Now on Switch, PlayStation 4, and Steam
Do you have any idea how hard it is to write the word "Sphear?" One, it's no longer a word that is commonly used. Two, it's how it's spelled in Lost Sphear, as in, "there is a new demo available now for Lost Sphear on the PC, PS4, and Switch." I don't know what Square Enix and developer Tokyo RPG Factory are playing at here, but I am up in arms about it. Clearly.
In the demo, players will join Kanata and his friends on their adventure and get an early look at some of the exciting... -

New Tomb Raider Game Announcement Coming in 2018
In a weird bit of news today, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix announced that a new Tomb Raider game is coming. But they didn't announce it yet, if you catch my drift. Instead, they announced that a new game is coming and that the announcement for the new game will come in 2018. Shortly after, the game is expected to be released. They wanted to avoid having a long delay between an announcement and the game being released, so they announced the game announcement now.

Outlast 1 and 2 Coming to the Nintendo Switch; New Project in Same Universe Announced
Red Barrels announced that Outlast and Outlast 2 will soon scare you on the go. The team is bringing these two horror titles to the Nintendo Switch in early 2018. With 2018 being just around the corner, that wait won't be long at all.
In addition, the team said that while there will one day be an Outlast 3, they are not currently working on that game. Instead, they are working on a "distinct experience set in the Outlast universe." Since they also said it isn't going to be... -

Newly Announced Doomsday Heist Brings Jetpacks to GTA Online
Rockstar did the unthinkable today and announced that a new heist is coming to GTA Online. They're calling it "The Doomsday Heist" and it promises to bring you "from the bustling streets of downtown" to the "ocean floor" and even to the "inner depths of Mount Chiliad."
Well that sure sounds interesting!

Bridge Constructor Portal Announced, You Monster
When I think of Bridge Constructor, I think about how great it would be with some of that hot Portal content. What do you know, they went ahead and made that dream come true.
Bridge Constructor Portal is a real game and it's really coming out on December 20, 2017 for Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices. Consoles will get to play this in early 2018. I have no idea yet how much it will be, but you can at least check out the Steam page for pricing updates.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' Upcoming Desert Map Now has a Name
The PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds team revealed the name of their upcoming desert map today in a lengthy Steam Community blog post. The name is Miramar and in addition to the name reveal, the team shined a light on a number of the major cities and locations you'll get to try to survive in.
When we decided to create a new map, we focused on creating an environment that is very different from Erangel. We wanted to go the opposite direction of having lush fields and forests and arrived... -

The Surge: A Walk in the Park Expansion Out Today
The Surge: A Walk in the Park is the first major expansion for the Deck 13 developed "Souls-like-but-not-actually-Dark-Souls" game. This expansion takes you to a love, cheerful, amusement park. Sounds lovely!
The Surge brought players deep into the high-tech CREO industrial complex, overrun by deadly machines, rogue AI, and deranged exoskeleton workers. A Walk in the Park gives players a breath of fresh air by taking them to an environment that’s more open and colorful, though no... -

The update is entitled "Dawn of the Lost Continent" and will allow players to visit Solak for the next chapter of content. The level cap has also been bumped up to 55 for players and the cap for Hongmoon is up to 25. I don't know who or what a "Hongmoon" is, but you can level it up more. There's a new solo dungeon, two new six-player dungeons, and even a ... -
