Remake of XIII Announced

A remake of the old(er) FPS known simply as XIII was announced today. The game features cel-shaded visuals and David Duchovny as the voice of the titular main character. The original originally came out back in 2003 and somehow attained "cult classic" status.

The remake will be out on November 13, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. The game itself is based on the first five volumes of the comic book series of the same name. The XIII remake is being handled by PlayMagic and will be published by Microids. ...

Sega Announces Another Ten Titles Coming with the Sega Genesis Mini

We dropped the ball on the original launch lineup, I fully admit that. However, I aim to correct that oversight by telling you about the SEGA Genesis Mini and the games that are coming with it. Prior to today only ten games were known. Today, another ten games join those original ten and we're going to tell you what all of those are. ...

Mortal Kombat 11 Official Launch Trailer

Mortal Kombat 11 will be released starting April 23 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. We've already had a ton of coverage for this game over the prior few months, so be sure to check that out.

Imagine that.

Earlier today the studios revealed the first details and trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at the Star Wars Celebration that has been going on this weekend in Chicago. New 425.31 Nvidia Drivers Bring Ray Tracing to Older GTX Cards

Remember about a month back when we told you that ray tracing was coming to those with non-RTX Nvidia cards? That day has finally arrived. With today's release of the 425.31 drivers, those on 1060 and higher cards can now give real-time ray tracing a spin.

Since all of these older cards lack the special hardware that helps to speed up DirectX Raytracing (DXR) in games, don't expect to have fantastic framerates. However, if you understand what you're getting yourself into, go nuts with it. Just make sure you have one of the following cards, have updated to the 425.31 Nvidia drivers,...

  • Valve Released an Artifact Comic

    Valve Released an Artifact Comic

Just two days ahead of the release of Artifact, Valve did what Valve does best and released a new comic. It's called "Prelude" and it serves as a prelude to their upcoming card battling game.

A second comic called "Call to Arms" will drop on Wednesday. These comics "sets the stage for a series of events that will transform the world of Dota forever."

So, are they changing the base Dota game as a result? Because if not, that seems like a kind of silly thing to say about Artifact, no? Anyway, go read today's comic, Prelude, at the Artifact website....

"Horse With No Name" Darksiders 3 Trailer

It's the day after Thanksgiving, but that didn't stop THQ from releasing a new trailer for Darksiders 3. The trailer, called "Horse With No Name" is all about, I presume, going through the desert on a horse with, you know, no name.
For some, the original song (by the band America) is related to series, movies, or games (Breaking Bad, Parks and Recreation, The Simpsons, Six Feet Under, F.R.I.E.N.D.S., Air America, Hideous Kinky, The Trip, American Hustle, GTA San Andreas etc.). For some, the original song is a memory of their youth and/or upbringing. For some, this version (by Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney) is tied to the series of BoJack Horseman. For some, af
