Forza Horizon 3 Gets Enhanced for Xbox One X with Native 4K
Microsoft informed everyone today that Forza Horizon 3 now has Xbox One X enhancements ready to download and install. This free update, available to everyone playing the game on the Xbox One X, increases the resolution to 4K and adds in some additional visual improvements. Alongside the 4K resolution bump, the game incorporates 4xMSAA! The image quality is absolutely insane already but that's not all. Some of these smaller improvements include better car reflections, higher quality shadows,... -

Metal Gear Survive Apparently Has a Plot
Metal Gear Survive is the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V spin-off game that Konami is working on. Yeah, Konami still makes a game here or there, presumably when it's a slow season for pachislot. Metal Gear Survive finds you fighting for survival after Mother Base is nearly pulled into a wormhole following the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. This is already a really stupid plot, even by Metal Gear standards. I'm just going to let Konami's press release do the talking. ... -

Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor - Martyr Campaign Intro
The Martyr update for Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor is one that developer NeocoreGames is calling the "biggest content update" yet. This update includes an entirely new terrain setting for the space based action-RPG. This update also includes a new playable class and yes, the first chapter of the game's single player campaign.
The time has come. Early adopters of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr can finally step on the deck of the 'Martyr' and begin their journey as the Inquisitors... -

Bungie Outlines Its Plans for Major Destiny 2 Improvements
By the end of 2017, Destiny 2 found itself looking at a mixed bag of user reviews, despite the initial critical consensus being relatively strong. This gulf continues to grow between the critical response to Destiny 2 at launch and the current opinion of the fans. At release, things were relatively positive between everyone because the game was new and exciting. The possibility for the future was still wide open. As time wore on, the cracks began to become more and more apparent. The critics... -

New Resident Evil Social Media Logo is Decidedly Old School
This past week, the various Resident Evil social media channels, such as Twitter and Facebook, updated with a new logo. It's so new that it's actually old, as in it's very reminiscent of the original Resident Evil logo from the original release of the first three games back on the PlayStation. Specifically, it looks a lot like the font and style used for the very first Resident Evil game back in 1996. For you youngsters out there that don't know there was a "PlayStation" before there was a... -

Sharp Wits and Sharp Knives Come Together in SOS, Entering Early Access on January 23
Come January 23, you can pick up a copy of the new survival multiplayer game, SOS, for just $29.99 (USD) through Steam Early Access. The game is being developed by Outpost Games, a studio made up of former EA, YouTube, and Twitch veterans. I'm assuming this means that they worked at YouTube and Twitch and weren't just streamers? Let's go with that because it sounds a lot more plausible right now. SOS will put 16 players against each other in a "30-minute reality show-style challenge t... -

Dark Souls: Remastered Announced for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC
This should come as no surprise to those that read the rumor from late last night, but Dark Souls: Remastered was officially announced today. Really, the only thing that's different from the initial leak is the fact that the remaster is not a PlayStation 4 exclusive as initially thought. Instead, Dark Souls: Remastered will be released for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam on May 25, 2018.

Anamorphine Pushes Its Adventure to Late Q1 2018
It's time for the unfortunate news of a game delay. The game in question is the "introspective adventure" game from Artifact 5, Anamorphine. Instead of releasing on January 16, the studio feels as though they needed more time to polish the game. At present, the game will now ship in "late Q1 2018" which places the release closer to the mid-March realm.
“A little bit of extra care always goes a long way. We’ve been working on Anamorphine, our introspective adventure title, for... -

Dark Souls Remastered Rumor Surfaces Following Release Date Photo Leak
According to a tweet made by @bdsassy on Twitter, not only is Dark Souls Remastered a potential game but it's also looking like it might be a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
In what looks like a photograph of a pre-order slip, the game lists "Dark Souls Remastered" for the PlayStation 4. The date indicates May 24, 2018, which may be the release date (at least in Japan).
Real? Fake? Why not the Xbox? Will the PC see any of the potential improvements too? WHERE ... -

CS:GO Update for January 10: Panorama UI for CS:GO is... Still Not Here
The moment you're all waiting for is finally here. The moment where you are again disappointed at the lack of the Panorama UI for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Oh well, you should be used to this kind of disappointment by now. At least now you know how your parents feel.
However, today's update instead ends the Holiday Cheer event, and provides a couple of minor changes.
