Call of Duty Shakeup - Call of Duty 2020 is Another Black Ops and Is Modern Warfare 4 Going Free-to-Play?

Reports include talk of arguments between Sledgehammer and Raven.

There are reported some massive changes happening behind the scenes of the Call of Duty franchise. According to a new report from Jason Schreier of Kotaku, Call of Duty 2020 is no longer being developed by Sledgehammer and Raven. It will instead be handled by Treyarch and it will be another entry in the Black Ops saga.

This is the first major change in the development cycle of the Call of Duty franchise since 2012. Since then, the Call of Duty games have cycled between three lead studios. Those studios...

Bungie Brings Back the Nerf Gun on Fan-Favorite Destiny 2 Weapons

Old Bungie is back.

Around the release of the Curse of Osiris update for Destiny 2, Bungie had vowed to take a drastically different approach to how they handle community favored weapons in the game. Old Bungie would have nerfed those weapons into the ground without a second thought.

But new Bungie? New Bungie said that they wanted to instead buff up other weapons to make them more attractive choices. This was a part of their "Go Fast Update" initiative. Specifically, here is what they said in all capital letters for some weird reason (via Game Rant).

Review: A Plague Tale: Innocence (PC)

Incredible from start to finish.

Every once in a while there comes a new game release that defies all expectations. A Plague Tale: Innocence is one such game. Thanks to a delicate balance of satisfying gameplay and an engaging story, A Plague Tale will sink its hooks into you right from its opening chapters. Though there are a couple of small missteps along the way, the journey you share with siblings Amicia and Hugo is one you really don't want to miss.

There are many more review "buzz words" I could use to describe A Plague Tale, but I will spare you from...

First Major Hollywood Films Come to Steam Starting with Mad Max

Mad Max: Fury Road, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, and Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior mark the first major Hollywood films to appear on Steam. Fury Road is simply a pre-order while the other two films can be streamed right now. Yes, streamed. There is no option to download the films locally. People are already up in arms because they feel the prices seem a bit too steep for a streaming only service, with the original Mad Max films going for $14.99 (USD) and Fury Road going for $19.99. I'm just sitting here like "eh, I stream shows and movies on Netflix and YouTube all the time. I've streamed a purchase ...

    Madden NFL 16 Review

MUCH MORE THAN JUST A ROSTER UPDATE

When people look at a yearly franchise like Madden NFL, they think that it’s merely a $60 roster update layered on top of the same, old game. While this really hasn’t held true now for the past few years, people will still hop on social media or forums and shout that cliché until they’re blue in the face. That or they’ll smugly entertain themselves by saying how “NFL 2K5 is still the best football game ever made!” Unfortunately for all of those people, Madden NFL 16 is not merely just some roster update thanks to some needed and very worthwhile updates to the core gameplay mechanics. Fun and interesting new changes to the passing and receiving game have been included in Madden NFL 16 that easily make it one of the best football games in years. Last year, ...
