Report: Xbox, Sony, and Nintendo to Skip E3 2023
E3's big return sounds like it's more of a dud.
In September 2022, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) announced that E3 was returning. Not only was it returning, but it would be the show's first in-person event in four years.
Now, we're learning that none of the three major console makers will have any sort of presence at the trade show. Sony and Nintendo not having a presence probably isn't too surprising. Those two companies had already started to do their...

More Details on the Return to Classes in Battlefield 2042
Classes are coming back to Battlefield very soon. Here's what you need to know.
We have known for a while now that DICE has been planning to re-introduce the traditional Battlefield Class system into Battlefield 2042. Today, DICE took the time to provide a lengthy write-up talking about the changes that are being made in order to add Classes into a game that really didn't have any.
DICE opens their write-up by saying that "Specialists at launch were polarizing to...

Update to Stadia Controllers Ensures a Life After Death
An update will allow you to connect to Bluetooth enabled devices.
According to the watch I don't own, Google Stadia is now probably shut down. Well, if it's not at the time of posting, it probably will be by the time you read this. Stadia was set to shut down on January 18th and, well, it's now January 18th.
At the 11th hour, Google released a new support tool that will allow those with a Stadia Controller to use it as a general Bluetooth controller. Without the use of...

Games to Look Forward to in 2023
I won't lie. I fully expected there to be far more news to post today (January 2, 2023) given that it's the start of the week and the holidays are "technically" over. What I failed to realize is that a ton of people are still off work due to the New Year falling on a Sunday.
Thus, here I am opting to do a little write-up about what games I'm looking forward to in 2023 instead of sitting around doing nothing. Who knows, maybe you're looking forward to these games as well. If I missed some games ...
Total Gaming Network's 2022 Games of the Year
It is time once more to talk about the best games that have come out over the past year. As the case has been with previous years, this list of games only includes the titles that I have personally played to some degree. In addition, the games on this list are games that were released in 2022 unless otherwise stated for some specific reason.
As I am the only one posting content on the site, this is as much a "Total Gaming Network Game of the Year" as it is my personal Game of the Year selection. ...

Gearbox Pulls Out of G2A Deal; Blames People Can Fly
To nobody's real surprise, Gearbox announced today that they have pulled out of their deal with notoriously shady key reseller G2A. The initial deal had G2A selling a number of exclusive versions of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition to consumers. This move comes just a couple of days after the partnership was announced and just a day after Gearbox gave G2A a list of demands that they wanted fulfilled or else they would pull out of the deal. The demands stipulated that G2A had just under ... -

Gearbox Partners with G2A One Day, Threatens to Kill Partnership the Next
Yesterday, Gearbox announced a super controversial partnership with G2A, a "grey market" retailer of PC game keys. The partnership had G2A being an exclusive retailer of some special editions of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition. Man, the Internet was pissed. G2A is notorious for their shady business practices so to see a fairly large studio like Gearbox actually partner with them was kind of beyond the pale. Cut to today where Gearbox is now threatening to kill the partnership with G2A un... -

Mass Effect: Andromeda Patch 1.05 Provides Massive Improvements to Eyes and Emotions
As promised, BioWare released the 1.05 patch today for Mass Effect: Andromeda. The patch actually does quite a bit more than initially advertised, which is a good thing.
The full list of multiplayer changes is fairly substantial and is a good start to patching this game up. There are no additional changes for the game's single player from the patch notes provided the other day.... -

The Surge 'Target, Loop and Equip' Trailer
Developer Deck13 released another trailer today for The Surge, their upcoming sci-fi action RPG. Today's video is all about the loot.
The Surge empowers players by giving them control over what they loot from defeated enemies. Target specific body parts before damaging them with a combination of vertical and horizontal attacks; the dismembered part then determines which piece of equipment is looted―the schematic corresponding to the sliced armor part, salvaged materials for... -

Five Ways Xbox Project Scorpio Improves Xbox One and Xbox 360 Games
The lid is now being blown off of Project Scorpio, the new Xbox console coming from Microsoft later this year. The first video from Digital Foundry takes a look at how Scorpio will improve both Xbox One and Xbox 360 games. For those who can't sit through the entire video the key highlights are:
- Smoother performance and no screen-tearing (won't magically turn a 30fps game into a 60fps game however)
- Dynamic resolution titles will now run at the maximum possible resolution
- Improved

(Review) Go Home, Mass Effect: Andromeda, You're Drunk
No man's Mass Effect.
For the sake of this review, let me just state that as of this writing I have not yet finished playing through Mass Effect: Andromeda. However, I have put in about 69 hours into the game, which includes a mix of both the game's single player and multiplayer content, a bulk of which has been spent in the game's single player content. This will not be a traditional review. This will instead be a quick look at some of the highs and the many lows that this game has deliver... -

by Shawn ZipayThere are at least three of them coming this year.
It's near the start of the month. It's a new month, a new year, but probably the same you. 2023 will have a number of remakes and remasters released, same as the previous few years. While there are remakes and remasters of games such as Like a Dragon: Ishin and Risk of Rain Returns slated to be released in 2023, we're going to focus only on the horror remakes in the pipeline.
That means, I'm asking just one simple question:...Dead Space (January 27)25.00%1Resident Evil 4 (March 24)50.00%2System Shock (March)25.00%1-
