Tim Sweeney is always mad.

The antitrust lawsuit against Valve from Wolfire Games got a little spicy this week. To quickly get you up to speed: Wolfire claims that Valve uses its position with Steam to control game prices and muscle out competition. Though the initial lawsuit against Valve was dismissed, Wolfire amended their suit in May 2022 and the legal battle was back on.

It may have taken almost two years, but we are now starting to see some of the documents that...

The heads of Xbox stayed true to their word and were indeed a part of a special edition of the Official Xbox Podcast. During today's pre-recorded podcast and subsequent blog post, head of Xbox Phil Spencer stated that four Xbox exclusives are going to be multi-platform releases. Is it Starfield? Indiana Jones? Gears of War? Halo?! No, no, no, and no. Though Spencer did not specify what those four titles ...

"New" PUBG Cheat Allows for Instant Heals and Instant Revives

I just saw this one over at PC Gamer. It seems as though a new cheat is making the rounds for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds that allows the user to not only instantly heal themselves but also instantly revive their downed teammates.

The clip below was originally shared on Reddit by user MagicIsBull. In it, you can see the kill cam footage of a player that not only near instantly revives his teammate but also near instantly heals himself right after. Both of these actio...

John Cena Might Be Duke Nukem in Upcoming Film

First off, why is there going to be a film adaptation of Duke Nukem? Secondly, why is John Cena in talks to play the title character?

These are all questions that I don't care to have answered really. Have we learned nothing from when the Rock played Mr. John Q. Doom from the 2005 Doom film? I guess not because Platinum Dunes, the company run by Michael Bay (ooooh, I get it now), Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller are ready to produce the Duke Nukem movie.

Rust to Leave Early Access After Four Years

After four "long" years of development, Garry Newman and his team at Facepunch Studios have decided that it's high time to let Rust leave Steam Early Access. On February 8, you will be able to purchase the "finished" version of the open-world, survival sandbox that Newman and his team have been constantly tweaking on a very regular basis.

With this move will come some changes as it applies to new updates and deploying patches.

Android 21 Enters the Battle in Dragon Ball FighterZ

Bandai Namco is showing off Android 21 for Dragon Ball FighterZ today. This is her first appearance in the Dragon Ball universe, or the DBU as I'm fond of calling it.

We don't know a whole heck of a lot about her, but we do know the following thanks to the press release.
What we do know is she’s a researcher for the Red Ribbon Army and she will be quite a fierce fighter, able to hold her own against the likes of Goku, Cell, Vegeta, and more.
    There you go. She's a...

  • Professional NBA Star Paul George Helped to Design These PlayStation Themed Nike Shoes

The idea of a "PlayStation themed shoe" isn't really a weird one, nor is it unique. It has been done a number of times in the past. However, we haven't had one in a few years and apparently Nike and Sony decided that it was high time that changed. This is where NBA player Paul George of the Oklahoma City Thunder comes in. George was consulted on the design of the 2018 model of the new design and well, it actually looks pretty damn neat. They're calling it the ...

Sonic Creator Yuji Naka Joins Square Enix

Yuji Naka, the creator behind the one and only Sonic the Hedgehog, has announced a new phase in his career today. Via Twitter, the developer stated that he has joined up with Square Enix. What is he working on with them? Will he be doing anything other than being a simple "developer" there? Will we at long last get that Final Fantasy and Sonic crossover that fans have been dying for? These are all important questions that we simply do not have the answers to. Maybe he'll tell us mo...

Crytek Responds to Cloud Imperium Games' Response to Initial Crytek Lawsuit

This week we got to see the planned response from Crytek that addresses the recent legal response by Cloud Imperium Games (CIG) to dismiss a lawsuit from Crytek over Star Citizen. I say it's a "planned response" because while this was filed literally yesterday (January 19), the court date isn't until February 9.

Unfaithful Streamer to Return to Streaming in February, Fans Go Wild

Dr. Disrespect announced that he will be returning to streaming on February 5. This comes via a new in-character video posted to his Twitter late last night.

From the looks of the video in the Tweet, Dr. Disrespect and his wife have worked things out. It certainly seems as though she will play a larger role in his streams going forward. Unless... Unless that's one of the women he cheated with. That'd just be extra awkward.

Free Call of Duty: WWII Event Scheduled Around Release of Resistance DLC

Starting on January 23, Activision is planning a free event for Call of Duty: WWII that coincides with the release of the Resistance DLC. This is apparently limited to some in-game event that will provide you new free weapons, the return of the Demolition mode, new Resistance gear to go with the new Resistance Division, double XP, and more. • Poll: What is 2024's Biggest Gaming Disappointment So Far?
    by Shawn Zipay
    It's AAAA vs WB.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.

Between the Rocksteady developed live-service Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the "AAAA" quality Ubisoft developed Skull and Bones: Which is the bigger disappointment for you?
