Tim Sweeney Called Valve 'Assholes' in Email to Gabe Newell, Valve COO Says 'You Mad Bro?'

Tim Sweeney is always mad.

The antitrust lawsuit against Valve from Wolfire Games got a little spicy this week. To quickly get you up to speed: Wolfire claims that Valve uses its position with Steam to control game prices and muscle out competition. Though the initial lawsuit against Valve was dismissed, Wolfire amended their suit in May 2022 and the legal battle was back on.

It may have taken almost two years, but we are now starting to see some of the documents that...

No, Starfield and Indiana Jones are not going multi-platform any time soon.

The heads of Xbox stayed true to their word and were indeed a part of a special edition of the Official Xbox Podcast. During today's pre-recorded podcast and subsequent blog post, head of Xbox Phil Spencer stated that four Xbox exclusives are going to be multi-platform releases. Is it Starfield? Indiana Jones? Gears of War? Halo?! No, no, no, and no. Though Spencer did not specify what those four titles ...

    Prey Twitter is Teasing Something

The Twitter account for Prey seems to be hinting at something. It's probably a bit too soon to suggest it's a full-blown Prey 2, but it's something. I am mostly expecting this to be something akin to the Death of an Outsider release that came out as a supplemental release for Dishonored.

At the very least, it looks like whatever it is will be taking us to the Moon.

Far Cry 5 Trailer Takes the Fight Against Cultists to the Mountains

A new Far Cry 5 trailer shows off some fresh gameplay. Specifically, it shows off some gameplay taking place in the mountains of Hope County. No, this isn't Far Cry 4, but I can see how you would be confused.

These are the Whitetail Mountains, an area full of trees, ziplines, and plenty of locations to snipe some evil, gun-loving cultists.
Montana's mountain country is a paradise for stealthy players, with plenty of forests to hide in and wingsuit-friendly cliffs for

How to Take Advantage of Value Betting

Most beginners avoid betting on teams with long odds in fear of losing their money. Putting your bucks on such teams is also known as value betting - a concept that many punters are oblivious to. In eSports betting, a successful gambler understands the difference between the team's chances of winning and compares them to other betting odds on offer. Profitable betting requires having the ability to find value bets, putting your money on these bets and making a staking plan that brings out the be...

GamesBeat managed to get some new information on the upcoming 2018 Battlefield title. Their anonymous sources even provided what looks to be a heavily redacted sceenshot showing off the title screen. As you can see above, the next game will supposedly be called Battlefield V. Originally, the next Battlefield game was internally called "Battlefield 2." This has since been changed to what we see here. According to their sources, Battlefield V will take the franchise back to World War II, a...

Quantic Dream's Detroit: Become Human has been given a firm release date of May 25, 2018 for the PlayStation 4. It's a game by David Cage, so you're probably already destined to hate it or love it, so I'll just get right into the gameplay and story details.

Now Available: Battlezone 2 Gets Remastered as Battlezone: Combat Commander

Rebellion and developer Big Boat Interactive just released a new RTS/FPS hybrid game Battlezone: Combat Commander today through both Steam and GOG.com.

Now, I'm calling it a "new" game but in reality it's actually a remaster of the classic Battlezone 2, which came out back in 1999 from Pandemic Studios. Oh Pandemic, I miss you dearly. This remaster includes some 4K resolution support, DirectX 11 shading and rendering, high resolution textures, and more. Perhaps best of all...

Next week, Donald Trump will supposedly meet with various video game execs to have a little chit-chat about the evils of violent video games. Who are these executives? Nobody knows. Why isn't Trump focusing on actual issues like gun control? Beats the hell outta me.

  • Poll: What is 2024's Biggest Gaming Disappointment So Far?
    by Shawn Zipay
    It's AAAA vs WB.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.

Between the Rocksteady developed live-service Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the "AAAA" quality Ubisoft developed Skull and Bones: Which is the bigger disappointment for you?

    Playing these games isn't...
